Short Description :
A tortoiseshell she-cat with a scarred pelt and light green eyes
Long Description :
On the petite side of normal for a feral cat, Cloverleaf is small and lithe, with long legs that help her run well. Her short fur is made up of brindled black and orange tufts that don't entirely cover the numerous scars that cross her back and sides. She has light green eyes the color of new leaves.

Personality
Cloverleaf's current emotional state is one of chaos, turmoil, and change. The recent emotional upheavals in her life have left her shocked, surprised, and unsure what to do. She is hopeful about the future, something that had once seemed dark and endless to her, but she still has difficulty letting go of some things that haunt her past.
Change does not happen in a day, however, and despite having left, Cloverleaf still retains some vestiges of the way she acted when she was a member of ThunderClan. In many respects, she is still as non-confrontational, skittish and submissive as she was in her old home, when her chief goal was to avoid any kind of major conflict. As the weeks have passed since her leaving, however, she has found these traits have lessened somewhat. She's found it increasingly easier to stand her ground in discussions, and instead of fleeing when something suspicious approaches, she may wait to see if it is actually the threat she perceived it to be. Her feelings about her current situation are mixed. At times she misses her old home with a kind of miserable, bitter homesickness, and at other times, she realizes how unhappy she was there and is glad to be free of it. On the whole, though, she is spending her time looking for a place that she feels she belongs, wherever such a place may be. |

Throughout her early life, the only kind of notoriety Cloverkit gained was the kind that follows all kits who look forward to their future life in the Clan with great enthusiasm, something she was not lacking in the least. Thus, when she was apprenticed, the newly named Cloverpaw threw herself wholeheartedly into training with that enthusiasm. At that point, she was a bit daring, pushing the boundaries of rules sometimes in an attempt to stand out, but still fiercely loyal and prideful of her Clan.
It was this pride and naive unawareness for consequences that was her downfall one day in her tenth moon, where she went on an early morning solo hunting patrol by herself, and found not only prey but a WindClan raiding patrol. She discovered them before they discovered her, so she had two options to choose from: to run back and warn the Clan or take on the intruders herself. To her, there was no question on which option to choose. Her outrage and bravado was not nearly enough to face three fully-trained warriors (one of them Blackwater) and an apprentice (Lilypaw). They left the apprentice for dead, and she lay there for most of the day, almost having to force herself to keep breathing, until her friend Nightfall and a ThunderClan patrol sent to look for her found her and rushed her back to the medicine cat, Tangleheart. While her wounds healed slowly, the scratches and bites serious enough to leave her in the medicine cat's den for nearly a moon, time could not fix the other effect of the ambush. A fear of fighting had been instilled deep in Cloverpaw while she had laid gasping on the forest floor, and she had vowed never to battle again. Nightfall was the only cat she told, and when she was permitted to go back onto light duty, he worked with her until she was able to fake her way through battling assessments to earn her warrior name. No other cat in ThunderClan knew. Moons passed, some good some bad. The fear that ThunderClan would discover her paranoia was constant, but another set of problems entered Cloverleaf's life as well. Given her close friendship with Nightfall from an early age, her trust in him soon began to change into stronger feelings. At the same time, she began to visit with Nightfall's brother Shardclaw, and to her surprise, began to develop feelings for him too. The problem was that both brothers appeared to return her feelings; both brothers also hated each other. As she became more emotionally involved while trying to maintain both friendships (and romances) and straining both, particularly Nightfall's, matters got worse on other fronts. A run-in with a WindClan battle practice on a border patrol with Bloodstar placed her directly under the leader's scrutiny. The final straw came when she was selected for an ambush party to attack a ShadowClan patrol for stealing prey. When the time came to fight, Cloverleaf froze as her Clanmates took on the three cats. During the battle, her Clanmate Slateshadow was killed, and her inactivity was too obvious to ignore. Her secret was out at last, and her relationship with Nightfall and Shardclaw was too entangled up for her to deal with any more. The she-cat fled ThunderClan. For a while, she remained on the edge of the border, until a patrol passed by close enough to spook her into moving. This time, she fled to the Twolegplace the kittypets called Whitehart. There, she met a cat named Serendipity, who gave her a new way to see her current position. Shortly afterward, while trying to figure out a way back to the forest, she met none other than Plato and Socrates, the half-brother and father of Bloodstar, respectively. |
