Appearance   Short Description : A tortie she-kit with yellow eyes and white paws Long Description : Crowkit is a slight she-cat. She is a tortoiseshell she-cat with white chin, chest and paws. Her patches are small, rather undefined and bear mackerel tabby markings on the red ones. Her head has a balanced distribution of black on the right side and red on the left; from her forehead down to her nose there is a triangular patch of undiluted black, contrasting vividly with the red around the left eye and the white on her chin. Her right ear and foreleg are mostly black, while the corresponding left parts are patched. On the forepaws only the toes are white, but the white-spotting is more present on the hindpaws, where it starts at the heel. The tip of Crowkit's nose is black. Her eyes are now a beautiful yellow colouring. She has lost the fuzzy appearance of a kit, and her fur is now sleek, like a Riverclan cat's should be.

Personality     Crowkit focuses all her energy into getting stronger, learning, and bonding with her den mates. She loves hunting, but can sometimes be overeager and scare prey away. Crowkit thinks herself as loyal, and will listen to the clan leader, but may disobey if she KNOWS it is the right thing to do. She is good at catching fish, and so-so at hunting birds and squirrels in leaf-bare. She is somewhat friendly to other clans, but puts her loyalty to riverclan first, and wouldn't think of joining another clan.

History   Key Dates   Born Crowkit in the Moon of Lion's Glory (2008) Apprenticed as Crowpaw in the Moon of Tiger's Wrath (2009) Full History : Crowkit was born on the 28th day of the Moon of Lion's Glory (2008) to Newheart of RiverClan. Her sire, who had passed away even before Newheart's pregnancy became noticeable, was the elderly Crowfur. Throughout the moons, the two cats went from a situation of mistrust and hate to a strong bond of friendship and understanding, and Crowkit, named after her sire, is the legacy of that bond. Born a single kit to a nursery filled with older ones and a kit just one day her elder--Fernheart's Mistkit--she was soon involved in clan life through interaction with her nursery companions. Crowkit stayed in the nursery for a while, but could not resist playing outside. For a few moons, she played outside and slept in the nursery, while trying to bond with other cats, and learning. Until now, her life was limited to the camp. She moved into the medicine cat den on the 8th day of the Tiger's wrath because of what was originally thought to be greencough, but has now been diagnosed as whitecough.

Player's Notes   General : Trivia information about Crowkit The name "Crowkit" is both an homage to Crowfur, her deceased sire, and an appearance descriptor. While, in the human world, crows are stereotyped as black, cats would know better: juvenile and female crows have different colors which vary according to species. Shades of brown with white speckles are common in these birds, and so the name fits a tortoiseshell and white kit.
