A She-cat by Blue out of LunaBorn and dubbed Dinah in the Moon of Melting Waters (2006)* Murdered in the Moon of Cheetah's Flight (2008)
Dead at the age of 32 moons (2 years & 6 months)
and has been so for 11 moons (10 months).
Appearance

Short Description :
A slim ginger van she-cat with pale blue eyes
Long Description :
Dinah's fur is mostly white, but parts of her face as well as her ears and tail, are pale ginger. Her coat is short, but tends to grow a bit thicker during the colder months. Much like the coloration of her fur, Dinah's eyes also sport a rather light tint, being that of a pale ice blue. Dinah is a slenderly built she-cat, with slim facial features and long limbs. Because of her reluctance to fight, she isn't heavily muscled but rather her form falls into that of motion, using her back legs to easily propel her forward while hunting. What she lacks in support and muscle build, she makes up for with speed, though, of course, such features can't save an individual every time. Her nose is a soft shade of pink, as well as her paw pads, yet to show signs of wear, with hooklike almost translucent claws.
Personality

Relatively soft spoken, she’s got a voice that barely rises above a purr unless she is in one of her rare vexings, particularly if she's stressed Not only does she tend to speak rather on the quiet side, she also saves her words for moments when she feels that they won't be ignored, and pays mind not to chatter on to questionable company, or anyone else she deems dangerous. She has a great fear of scars, and will mentally cringe when coming across another cat that sports one or more. This she-cat's silence and her temperament almost makes her vanish into the background, which is just the way she likes it. She leans towards allowing others to speak to her first, and to the wanting ear, she may become encouraging to those in need of her ever pricked ears.

Inquisitiveness in general, actually, is probably one of the few features of her personality that actually can make her turn away from her shy side and become active in a conversation. When presented with something or someone she finds to be particularly interesting, she may hang around a bit asking questions or observing until she feels satisfied that she knows a bit about the subject. When it comes to handsome young toms, though, she finds herself a helpless romantic, blushing at the first compliment that is thrown her way. She knows little of friendly banter, but tries her hardest to make a good impression, either through subtle, quiet posing, or equally quiet manners which she has picked when she was still living with Humans.

While fairly passive, she isn't the bravest. The idea of dying young is appalling to her, and it shows in the way she unconsciously avoids things that carry a potentially great risk for her. Having never been one to raise her voice, she instead will often babble and stutter when confronted or cornered, but when faced with the safety of a kit, a natural maternal instinct comes to her and will try her best to save it. Her imagination knows no bounds, and can be often found dozing off in dream. She hardly ever reacts violently towards another cat, instead prefering to hide away from problems or create a wide enough birth for herself

Full History :
Born alone to an inexperienced first time mother and a roving male, Dinah was introduced to misery very soon after her birth. While in the first couple months, she stayed by her mothers side, oblivious to the distance in her mother's gaze whenever she gazed upon her only child. Whenever she hunted and left her alone to fend for herself, Dinah often amused herself by watching beautifully colored birds fly above her, quietly imagining herself with wings and making up many stories in which she could accomplish that. Her mother, never seemed to take much interest in her imagination, and always tried to keep her daughter on the straight and narrow, warning her that life was a dangerous place, full of unexpected turns and mistakes. Dinah was still too young to know that her mother meant that her birth was a mistake, and live continued on.

At two moons, she began accompanying her mother on brief hunting expeditions, learning from observation and demonstration by instinct. She grew to be of awe of her mother, noticing how graceful she was whenever she leapt up and caught a bird in her claws. Soon, she was able to catch small things, like moles, whenever she could dig them up, and mice, but not before toying with them to amuse herself. One day, however, her mother set out hunting, but when her daughter automatically padded after her, her mother refused to let her come and told her to remain there. So, being the quiet, eager to please kit that she was, she stayed and waited. And waited. And waited. But well into the next day, she still didn't return and driven by hunger, she set off alone.

She came across many houses, where she preceeded with caution, knowing that anything could be lurking aound the corner. But it wasn't long before the sights and sounds lulled her into her imagination, which dulled her senses. She hoped onto one of the many fences that bordered the houses from the outside world. Thinking herself in some great adventure, she preceeded forward, balancing herself while having the time of her life. But then, she suddenly lost her footing and the world came tumbling up to meet her. Mewling loudly from the scrape on her paw, and confused about the pain coursing though her body, her cries did not go unanswered for long. A little girl, who came outside to play in the garden immediately felt sorry for the kit and brought her into the house.

The girl's parents let her keep the kit in their home and Dinah's paw slowly healed under her care. When she was healthy enough, the girl often took her outside with her to play in the garden or climb the large oak tree that rooted in their back yard. Dinah learned how to climb well before she met the girl, and clawed up the tree with reletive ease. The girl, however, was clumsy. One day, while climbing, the girl fell off one of the branches and broke both of her legs during the fall and bruised her spine and was immediately sent to the hospital. In the confusion, Dinah was left behind. The girl stayed at the hospital for many days, and her parents stayed by her side whenever they could. All Dinah knew, however, was that she had been abandoned. Again. This, however, only made her more determined to find out where her Housefolk went.

She climbed back over the fence and headed into he forest, only to be utterly disappointed in finding that the girl's scent was stale. Torn between waiting and leaving, she chose the latter and once again ventured through the forest. By watching and conversing with many other cats, she dusted off her hunting skills and learned to hunt decently enough, at least well enough to sustain herself without looking ragged. One cat in particular, a dusty grey tom named Rico, at one point around her fifteenth moon, accompanied her. Meetings were generally on and off, but both grew used to each other's company.

Rico was quiet, like her, but had a nagging sense of adventure that made Dinah often chuckle at his antics. He always found a way to encourage her into conversation and make her laugh. He also taught her how to swim, which seemed alien to her at first, but soon learned how with his help. They often bumped into many a cat, some of which were anything but friendly, and she soon learned to regret befriending one. She met a large white tom named June, who had a large pink scar across his face. He, however, didn't like Rico, and it became apparent in how he acted around him. Until one day, upset by Rico's attitude towards him, June lashed out and kill the small tom. Horrified, Dinah ran away. Still to this day, she has learned to look at cats with scars with general mistrust and even fear.

Ever since them, she has lived in solitude, most of the time, and makes the best of what life has thrown at her. However, her life would be cut short after recongizing the leader of the Cabal as one of the cats she met at the kennel. She was hunted down and killed by Drusilla to prove her loyalty.
