Appearance
Short Description :
A young blue-eyed pale-coated calico she-cat with white feet, belly and throat
Long Description :
Duckfeather is a well-built she-cat with a solidly muscled body under a smooth coat. Her pelt is splashed with the gray and cream patches of a calico. Her paws are white and frequently stained with mud from not properly drying them following fishing. Her underside and throat share this same white state. Her eyes are the blue color of a male Bluejay's feathers.

Personality
Duckfeather is usually rather quiet although she is not afraid to speak whatever is on her mind. Her preference for quiet has only gotten deeper the more death she has exerienced. She tries hard to keep her mind off the things that lurk where you cannot see them, and has gained a strong preference for the landlocked areas of the clan.
Since the death of Sleekstar, Duckfeather has been noticeably tense. Water, specifically makes her much more nervous than once it did.

History

Full History :
Featherkit was born to Foxpoppy soon after her father, Ashstar, was killed. She had three siblings, Needlekit, Heronkit and Smallkit but Smallkit died soon after birth. When Newheart had Twilightkit there was a fight between Foxpoppy and the new queen and Featherkit, along with her siblings, was moved to the deputy's den in what was a desperate attempt by the clan leader to keep peace in the warren under the tree.
When Walnutkit came to RiverClan he became Featherkit's adoptive sibling. They grew up together, though she was never comfortable with this StarClan sent outsider who invaded her family. Featherkit's mother, Foxpoppy, died of Killingcough and she finished her kithood moons under the care of Newheart, though she accepted this only under extreme duress. As a young Warrior she was present for both the deaths of Duskystar and Sleekstar on the river. |
