Frozensky A Player Character belonging to Unknown |
Appearance
Short Description :
A gray lynx point she-cat with pale aqua eyes and ghost spot markings
Long Description :
Taking after her sire in size and pelt, Frozensky is a large, albeit wiry she-cat. Her muscle mass lies mainly within her legs, due to chasing after swift prey. Her coloration is that of a lynx point, short in length; her legs from the elbows down, face, ears, and tail are streaked with dark silver. While the tips of her frame is covered in darker marks, the rest of her body is spotted with very faint silver rosettes. She has almond shaped eyes the color of the sky after a storm, a silvery aqua.

Personality
Frozensky likes to think that she is the queen of one-liners. She’s got the innate ability to come up with retorts as easily as some can bat an eyelash. She doesn’t like talking about herself or starting conversations that could lead to talking about herself, so she makes remarks to move the conversation along to a position that makes her feel more comfortable. Frozensky is the sort of cat who isn’t afraid to let others know what she knows and won’t act stupid to fit a role, unless of course she’ll get something she needs by fitting that role temporarily. She’s not the sort to go around babbling on and on about the latest piece of fresh prey she caught or how she slept the night before.
Most of the time, however, Frozensky wants to come off as smug. She believes that there are few cats that meet her standards, even clanmates – especially clanmates. Until then, she only wants to rely on the one cat she knows she can trust—namely, herself. Because of this, she tends to distant herself to those around her. She can be friendly, sure, but she can easily don a feinting smile and forget about the conversation the next day, and that’s just the way she likes it. It’s as though she’s almost indifferent to everything around her. Frozensky, though, is independent to the extreme and doesn’t technically need others to get things done (or so she insists). For now her system of relying only on her own skills and strengths to keep herself going is actually working rather well. As bitter as she is and as much as she views the world with nothing short of disdain, she can’t quite bring herself to give up. It’s hard, though, to keep anything resembling morals when this is how you view life. The form of moral bending, so to speak, that she relies on more often than not is deception. Lying comes easily to her, especially if she can use it to sneak herself out of a jam. If someone’s feelings are hurt in the process, that’s just too bad, they should know better than to put her in a situation where that has to happen. It’s a sacrifice she’s more than willing to make at the expense of other cats. |
History
Key Dates
Full History :
Frozensky was not born so emotionally distant. She had both a loving dame and a lax, good humored father, so technically, she had no reason to be brought up any other way. She was born in the moon of Running Prey to Smokeflower, an aging she-cat expecting her last litter before moving to the elder's den once she was apprenticed. The birth wasn't easy, but it wasn't life threatening. Needless to say, Smokeflower wasn't the same after she gave birth. Ignorant of her mother's plight, Frozensky, then known as Cloudkit, grew up attentive and curious of the world around her - and delighted in asking questions. She was upbeat and eager to explore the world outside of the nursery and enjoyed hearing the stories her father weaved her. Smokeflower 's immune system had been weakened from the birth and it finally caught up with her. She died long before Cloudkit became an apprentice.
It was then, at three moons, she became aware of the darkness around her. Unable to control herself, she became distant towards the others in the nursery and quiet, nearly mute, until her father stepped in and tried to comfort her. After her mother's death, she rarely saw her maternal half-brother, Dusktalon, who stopped visiting. In anger or in sadness, she did not know. She slowly started to recover and by the time she was apprenticed, she learned a new tactic to dealing with her loneliness; a sharp tongue. She secretly idolized her brother, wanting nothing more than to be as strong and as level headed as he was. Dusktalon, though, thought little of the one who 'killed' the only one he truly loved. Over the moons of training, she pushed herself ahead of any doubts in her mind that she wouldn't be second best to him, and the very thought of him now leaves a bad taste in her mouth. |
