Appearance
Short Description :
A young pale gray bi-color tom with yellow eyes
Long Description :
Skypaw is a pale gray bicolor tom. The gray that spreads across his shoulders and back and marks his face around his muzzle is unmarked by even a suggestion of tabby stripes. His body has grown and strengthened considerably since his kithood--now he stands on the large side, although he does not match his father in sheer size. The soft, kittenish blue of his eyes has long since faded, sharpening to a bright, clear yellow.

Personality
Formerly (and still mostly) sharp-tongued (bordering on rude), sarcastic, and somewhat judgemental cat; Graysky takes the fact that he is a leader's son to heart and can also be quite arrogant. He is not a cat who fusses much about the opinions of others. He is extremely honest, brutally so if he deems necessary. But underneath his less-than-cuddly demeanor he's ferociously loyal to all his clanmates, even those he criticizes, and is a WindClan warrior through-and-through.
Since the death of both of his parents, as well as his sister Doveleap, Graysky has withdrawn into himself and become less of an arrogant tomcat. Though still possessing a sharp tongue, he is notably more quiet nowadays and tends to keep to himself, but is still ferociously loyal to his clan.

History

Full History :
Skykit was born to Blackstar and Silverdust during the Moon of Turning Leaves (2007), along with his sister Dovekit. In the Moon of First Fishing (2008), Skykit recieved his apprentice name, Skypaw, and a mentor, Sparrowflight. He was made a warrior alongside his sister as Graysky in the Moon of Cheetah's Flight (2008).
Graysky's father, Blackstar, was slain by the badger plaguing WindClan's moors in the Moon of First White (2008). He was notably traumatized by this, and became more withdrawn when he realized his own father's mortality was the same as any other cat's. During the Moon of Tiger's Wrath (2009), when the blizzard swept through the forest, Doveleap was trapped when part of the warriors den collapsed underneath of the weight of the snow. Graysky frantically realized his sister was there (he had been in the part of the den that was unaffected from the collapse) and tried his absolute hardest to dig her out, but she unfortunately suffocated before he and his fellow warriors could dig her out. He mourned for a little longer than he should have, but he realized she was in StarClan along with their father, and he still had his mother alive, so things weren't as bad as they could have been. A moon later, during the Moon of Melting Waters (2009), his mother, Silverdust, succumbed to illness, and since then, he's remained mostly quiet and tends to keep to himself. His aunt Dawnstar is now the leader of the clan, and his uncle Snailtail remains a constant, too, but they are little consolation for the family he has already lost. |
