A large, lanky, spotted yellow-gold tom with slightly curled ears

Long Description :

Leopardtrack is a Savannah-mix cat. Savannahs tend to be large, lanky, and have a trademark spotted coat. In the right light, his smooth fur looks almost iridescent. His eyes are an extremely light shade of gold, and is swirled with a creamy shade of yellow. His tail, long and skinny, is often curled close to his muscled frame or flickering dangerously. His ears are tall and perked, but because of his small amount of American Curl blood, they tend to curl in at the edges. His face is sculpted from jutting cheek-bones and a firm mouth. His paws, however big, can sound quite silent against the ground, and his spotted pelt tends to camouflage him against the forest setting. Once again, because of his Curl heritage, the fur around his paws tends to be slightly longer and thicker. He has a habit of crouching low when he stands still, like he always looks like he's about to pounce. Sometimes this can give him a slightly more fierce appearance, but e doesn't seem to mind.

Personality

Leopardtrack is fiercely loyal to his clan, although at times he secretly believed that his own intentions, if they are noble, maybe be more important. He is bound by the code of deputy, and doesn't mind either. He had always dreamed of this rank, and is ready to prove himself to his clan at any time. Leopardtrack loves the other members of his clan, and will often hunt for an elder if needed. This all represents his feelings and intentions, but on the outside he might once in a while come off as rough or indifferent, and is instinctively a quiet cat. Still, the cats of his clan know that he is a loyal deputy and would never do any real harm.

Full History :

Viper, as was his name then, was born some moons after Doublestar, in a litter of three. His two siblings, Mudkit and Leafkit, were as adventurous as himself. His sire, Dareblack, was a proud and strong warrior. But... who was his dam? His mother was a rogue - who held a secret mateship with Dareblack, who was a loyal cat who would not want his rank of trusted warrior lowered by his secret. She was beautiful and headstrong, and at the time of Viper's birth, there was much debate over who would have which kits. She was in love, indeed, but was still a rogue and wanted to see her kits grow as rogues. Dareblack, however much compassionate, expected the kits to be loyal warriors. In the end, Dare finally agreed to pass Viper over to the she-cat, Ghost, who promised he would grow strong and proud. But Viper became very independent at a very young age. One time moons after his birth, he wandered towards WindClan territory and met a pretty young she-cat by the name of Leafpaw. He did not yet know he was her brother, let alone half WindClan. Eventually, however, they compared their histories, or what they knew of them, and found out that they were brother and sister. After that discovery, he was eager to join WindClan. Without even saying farewell to his mother, who he was quite resentful of, he followed her to camp.

At camp, the leader at the time was quite apprehensive. But Dareblack, now an elder after a debilitating wound, managed to sway the leader into taking Viper in. He had to change his name, however, to Viperpaw. He continued to spend time with Leafpaw, who taught him all about clanlife, and was assigned to a mentor by the name of Shotfur. Shotfur was aggressive, but was truly very caring for Viperpaw, in an odd sort of way. He trained fast and well, and grew into a strong hunter because of his Savannah heritage. Leafpaw introduced him to his other sibling, Scarpaw, whose name was changed due to an ugly scar he received in battle. Soon, he was an excellent apprentice and a superb hunter. He graduated as soon as possible, and was very proud to receive the strong name of Leopardtrack.

Soon after he was graduated into the warrior ranks, a band of rogues trespassed on WindClan territory. They went out to fight, and fought long and hard. In the process, however, the WindClan deputy was killed. But that wasn't the worst part of the battle to poor Leopardtrack. Both of his siblings, Leafheart and Scarnose, were dead. Leopardtrack was the first to find them, and he was devastated. They had been his only friends when he first joined the apprehensive clans. They were his siblings. And now they were gone, off hunting with StarClan. But Leopardtrack was a strong cat, and he managed to push through his grief and come through for his clan. But now he was a firmer, slightly more negative cat. When the next deputy was named, he wasn't surprised that he wasn't named. Doubletrouble became deputy. And another cat joined the clan. Leopardtrack was angry as Swiftclaw, one of the loners who trespassed joined as a warrior. It didn't seem fair. But as she stayed, he found himself thinking about her more and more. Before he could stop it - he loved her. And when she left the clan once more, he was once again quite saddened. He even thought of going back to his rogue roots and following her, since he had nothing left here. But no, he had a duty to his clan. Sometimes the binding warrior code was too much.

When the leader died and Doubletrouble became Doublestar, the time for a new deputy came around again. Leopardtrack didn't have high hopes, he knew that his slowly diminishing sorrow, no matter how much was masked, would be seen as a weakness. Little did he know how strong and loyal he still looked to the other cats, and when he was named deputy, it was a huge surprise. This brought him somewhat further away from his sadness, and now it is nearly gone. For many moons he was a strong, efficient deputy who was the best at his job. But, one day he met a pretty silver ShadowClan she-cat, Silverheart. He fell head over paws for her, and started meeting her at the border. As his affections grew, they started meeting more. Eventually, Leopardtrack was exiled from WindClan due to his affair with Silverheart and became a rogue.

He died of Killingcough on the first day of the Moon of the Killingcough (2007).
