Appearance
Short Description :
A muscular calico tom with yellow eyes
Long Description :
Marshstorm's short fur is a patchwork of thoroughly mixed light browns, reddish browns, and black. All four of his paws and the tip of his muzzle are exempt from the tortoiseshell coloration, as they are a snowy white. Marshstorm is of medium-large size. His eyes are a dull yellow.

Personality
Marshstorm's sometimes bipolar behavior and small hint of insanity causes for him to be poorly trusted by his clanmates. His relationship with his clan is rather harsh and rocky. This is because of the impossibility of predicting what a cat with such conditions may do next. One heartbeat he seems a happy and cheerful cat, and the next heartbeat Marshstorm drops into sudden, low depressions. Although he loves serving his clan, he is almost entirely oblivious to his serious conditions. Marshstorm has a tendency to act rather childishly, playing with falling leaves or batting at the occasional butterfly wandering around camp.

History

Full History :
Marshstorm was born to ShadowClanners Ashstripe and Blackfeather as Marshkit. The birth had some complications at the start that later developed into bigger problems, resulting in his mother and littermates' deaths. He was entrusted to another queen right afterwards, and so, the tom thought his foster mother was actually his real mother at some point of his life. A bit later into Marshkit's kithood, he was told of what had happened to his true mother and littermates. He was assured that his mother was in StarClan, along with his sibilings and father, who had died early into Blackfeather's pregnancy.
What Marshkit most loved during kithood was play-fighting. He was often scolded for his toughness while playing, however. While it was just a game, Marshkit imagined his playmates as true enemies. This wasn't just merely becoming overexcited with the game. It was just... Marshkit could swear those kits had turned into fierce enemy WindClan warriors for a moment. Though Marshkit never really did something as serious as hurting a clanmate, occasions in which he got into trouble weren't rare, and the queens had to keep an eye on him. Seven moons old, the newly dubbed Marshpaw joined his kithood denmates as an apprentice. Marshpaw really tried to pull himself together, but still received a scold or two every few moons. Paying attention wasn't really something in Marshpaw's ever-changing dictionary. He was distracted and absent-minded most of the time, didn't pay much attention to lessons, and so ended up with a few bee stings and scratches. Marshpaw found that his clumsy efforts wouldn't be acceptable, and he would certainly not be made a warrior any time soon if that was the best he'd give. He listened as attentively as he could, still distracted every now and then by a thing or two, became a skillfull hunter, and proved to be a good fighter. Some more moons were required for Marshpaw to become a full warrior. Althought he wasn't really bothered by this, he still had to watch the cats that were once his fellow apprentices become warriors moons before him. Finally, Marshpaw was named a warrior. At 15 moons, he recieved his warrior name, Marshstorm. |
