Short Description :
A green-eyed black tom with white underbelly, paws and tail-tip
Long Description :
Ravenwillow is a sleek cat, with jet-black fur covering most of his body like a cloak. White fur coats his underbelly, paws, and tail-tip, as if part of him had been stained permanently with clean snow. All of his fur is short and slick, giving him a slight advantage in water, and he is lithe and quick-moving, allowing him more maneuverability and speed and less power and strength, which gives him an advantage while fishing but subtracts from his advantage while swimming. His eyes are a dark green colour, and are slightly more narrow than a regular cat's eyes might be narrow, and they often betray his emotions when his body and words don't; and sometimes even when his body and words do. Ravenwillow is a quick fighter, a good fisher, and a skilled swimmer, but much power and muscle he lacks, and strength is not his best area.

Personality
Ravenwillow is an optimistic, calm cat who tries to get along with most cats. He usually knows what he’s doing and when he doesn’t, he doesn’t admit it. He tries to keep every cat in line as best a regular warrior can, and is quite firm about rule-breaking; he will always report to the Clan leader or deputy or a senior warrior if a kit or apprentice has acted badly. He despises any cat not of RiverClan; he will accept cats not of RiverClan and help them settle into the Clan as Clanmates, but he will try to keep a constant watch on them, just waiting for them to put a paw out of line. He tries not to be unfair to them, but he has no control over what they think of him, which might lead to a bitter argument someday.
Ravenwillow takes any opportunity that he can get to get to know his enemies; their strengths, weaknesses, and even general opinions, trying to use strategy as much as he can. He uses what one might call his cunning to try and help RiverClan survive. He would never dare to hunt on another Clan’s territory unless ordered to, but he would hunt off of the Clans’ land to find food if RiverClan was desperate. He is usually calm and level-headed, but he is incredibly fierce and ruthless to intruders and rule-breakers, and sometimes he lets his temper get the better of him. Due to this, he often enjoys meeting intruders so he can have the chance to rip them apart. Ravenwillow is usually friendly apart from that, but he has a biting, dry sense of sarcasm and won’t hesitate to use it when displeased.

History
Key Dates
Full History :
Jaykit and another tomkit were born to Hawkfeather and Blackwillow one day; but the litter wasn't perfect. Jaykit's brother was stillborn. Jaykit was a very young cat at the time, having just been born, so he had no knowledge of his brother and therefore didn't care. Hawkfeather and Blackwillow were more saddened than their kit was; but they soon got over it. As Jaykit got older and older, he begged Hawkfeather and Blackwillow to tell the Clan leader to make him an apprentice. They didn't listen to their whiny kit until he was six moons old.
The Clan leader called him Ravenpaw, a more fitting name due to his dark fur. Ravenpaw trained with a capable senior warrior, and soon learned many things. Ravenpaw became a skilled swimmer and fisher, but his fighting skills needed lots of work. His training soon reached the point where fighting made up the majority of his lessons. Finally his mentor moved on to more complicated hunting and fighting tactics and moves; Ravenpaw hadn't excelled at fighting, but he had done well enough. After a long six moons of training, and without Ravenpaw begging to be made a warrior, the day came. It was the day after a battle had left Blackwillow dead. Ravenpaw had not fought in this particular battle, but he was named Ravenwillow in honour of Blackwillow anyway because Blackwillow had been his father. Hawkfeather died a couple moons after Ravenwillow was named a warrior; she died of illness. Ravenwillow was deeply saddened by his parents' death, but he got it together and moved on, just like his parents had done for Ravenwillow's stillborn brother. Ravenwillow is now a regular RiverClan warrior who provides for and protects his Clan as any loyal cat would. |
