Appearance   Short Description : A young black bi-color she-cat with rusty shades and yellow eyes Long Description : Rosekit's coat is primarily black, with a smattering of white markings. Her muzzle, forepaws, hindpaws to the hock, a line on her belly, the ruff of fur on her throat, and the white blaze that points upwards between her eyes are all white. The fur itself has grown sleek and come into it's adultness fully. She shows a slightly red tone in the black parts of her coat that become more noticeable in sunlight and are the direct work of the sun on her fur. Her eyes are a bright yellow that stands out sharply against her dark fur.

Personality     While still in awe of the cats of legend, she has grown a bit more down to earth about the cats in her clan in recent moons. She still finds her father's rank a point of pride, but this pride has been tempered as she's grown into the fullness of being an apprentice. There just isn't the time for awe that once there was. She is still an avid learner, seeking knowledge and asking questions whenever she can. Age has also tempered this, though, and she's grown into a certain amount of confidence in her own knowledge and ability. The newness of apprenticeship has worn thin in her mind, and she dreams of the days to come, when apprentice chores are no longer hers and she has the freedom to leave camp as she pleases and find her entertainment during her downtime where she wishes, instead of where her Mentor will give her permission to go. She has grown into a bold cat, but one does not get anywhere being timid amongst a crowd of siblings and denmates. [Further updates soon...]

History   Key Dates   Born Rosekit in the Moon of Melting Waters (2008) Apprenticed as Rosepaw in the Moon of Lion's Glory (2008) Named a Warrior as Rosethorn in the Moon of Long Nights (2008) Full History : On the 18th day of the Moon of Melting Waters Squirrelfur gave birth to three kittens sired by Elmstar, leader of the Clan. The mother decided to name one of these kittens Rosekit, and the other two Shadowkit and Poppykit. Rosekit and her siblings grew up with little excitement into young cats. Like most kits, they all grew bolder and more interested in a future as apprentices once they'd been weaned. The quiet of their lives was broken momentarily when Elmstar finally saw fit to make them apprentices. She felt as if she had been ready for ages despite having only reached 6 moons, and was apprenticed to Bearshine on the 7th day of the Moon of Lion's Glory during the same ceremony as her two siblings.
