Appearance
Short Description :
A stubborn yet kind blue-gray she-cat with green eyes
Long Description :
Seafur is about the size of a large rabbit, her body build for speed and flexibility. In recent moons, it has lost a lot of the second. Her short fur is grayish blue, more of the latter than the former. Her eyes are bluish green, once again favoring the second more than the first. They are expressive, narrowed or widened to her mood. Her nose is black with tiny pink spots, her paw pads a mix of black and white.

Personality
Seafur is usually kind to those on her side. She is not overly particular about alliances either, though her loyalty to her clan is not to be questioned. Due to her age and previous rank as Medicine Cat, she can be quite stern, not above taking others to task or showing what she believes to be stiffness. Of course, as her temperate is not what many would consider over-the-top, she rarely becomes too bothersome to most. She tries not to stifle people too much.
Towards those she has reason to dislike, Seafur can be fierce, but she is more a diplomat than a fighter. She is generally what is called clever, a reason she ended up a Medicine Cat and even managed to survive when she took the position as young as she did. Her moons have given her wisdom, enough to lecture young kits and apprentices when she feels the urge. In terms of flaws, hers is stubbornness. If she believes that she is right, she isn't afraid to argue it. Her temper can flare when she is ignored, turning her into a sharper, less agreeable creature. However, as the moons have past, she has learned to hold her tongue more, instead taking to worrying. As an elder, she does mostly that when things get bad, trying to leave things to the next generation. When things are going well, she is largely a hopeful cat. |
History

Full History :
Born to Pondpelt and sired by Vineclaw, Seakit was the only kit of the litter. Nature was not kind to her at first. At three moons, her mother was killed by a fox. A moon after that, her father was killed by a badger. The clan took care of her, as was its way. Tallfrost looked out for her until she was apprenticed.
At six moons, she was taken by Brokentail to train to become the next Medicine Cat. Two moons after the ceremony, Brokentail disappeared and was never found, dead or alive. No real sign of where she went was uncovered. Seafur was made the the new Medicine Cat of RiverClan. Though it was arguable that she did not know enough, she took each challenge in stride. With the help of the other Medicine Cats, especially Skyflame of WindClan, she learned the things that Brokentail hadn't been able to teach her in time. As the war ended, times brought other troubles, new prophecies that Seafur got to see and handle. On the night of one gathering, after a bloody vision, she ended up racing to the event, making sense of warnings from StarClan nearly too late. After pulling Ashstar away from Bloodstar, she was stricken to watch her leader lose a life. The ThunderClan medicine cat, Stoneheart after that, was banished and ShadowClan's medicine cat, Crestedback, took over for her, leaving Sagepelt to take care of ShadowClan. Life continued. Amongst other things, Hopekit, the savior in a false prophecy, faced challenges until the Medicine Cat's finally revealed that the prophecy was fake. It had never made Seafur proud to be apart of that, but she stood by their reasoning. When ShadowClan took in a stray dogkit, Bloodstar planned a crusade, making her sick with worry over what would happen to the clans. Then the dogkit simple vanished, leaving her with a different problem, a new prophecy of a killer who left mangled bodies in his wake. In her lifetime, that killer took the lives of many before it was hunted out of their forest. Then it was killingcough. Seafur learned to know death. She trained two apprentices in her life. The first was Pebblepaw. She lost him to the river, the same fate of Ashstar moons later. The second was Heronpaw, the daughter of that very leader, the she-cat destined to take over her position. When Heronflight had earned her name and was ready to replace her, Seafur retired. She moved into the elders' den in the moon of Leopard's Rest (2007) and took to enjoying her retirement. |
