Appearance
Short Description :
A tortoiseshell tabby van she-cat with amber eyes
Long Description :
Skydapple is on the small side, but only a bit; she's fairly average-sized. Her fur, which has smoothed out by now, is white, littered with striped tortoiseshell markings. Her small paws are white with petal-pink pads. She has a black nose with round eyes of a bright amber color that compliments the black, white, and brown on some of her fur. Her small ears and tail, as well as a small patch on her back, carry the tortoiseshell tabby look.

Personality
Skydapple is very observant of her surroundings and can think about things that don’t necessarily concern her, giving her personality both a nosy aspect and a thoughtful, inquisitive aspect. She has an overpowering curiosity, and she is always eager to be on her paws, though as she ages she lands herself in mischief less and less.
Skydapple likes to get her way, and can get loud and snarky when this doesn't happen. However, she understands and accepts that this won't always happen, and when she thinks this is the case she won't say a thing. She is bound by the warrior code and regards ShadowClan's safety from the other Clans, especially ThunderClan, as her first priority. She is bold and adventurous, and often exaggerates things she's done--catching a leaf often turns into defeating a fox single-pawed when she's talking about it. Her attention span is relatively short, and she can change moods very suddenly. Skydapple likes her family well enough, though she feels that Bearshine is rather dull, and much prefers her adopted sister. |
History
Key Dates
Full History :
Dapplekit was born to Sootypelt and Bayshine, two ShadowClan cats, a moon after her mother took Aspenkit in. Their love for each other created Dapplekit and her brother, Brushkit. She was born without difficulty, but her first brother was stillborn. Of course, she wasn't fazed by the passing since she was too young to understand. As a young kitten, her history had been made up of naps, suckling, and the usual visits of her sire, Bayshine, and maternal half-sibling, Sagepelt. As soon as she was old enough, she began to talk and explore, and constantly looked for trouble.
Dapplekit became Dapplepaw, apprentice of Squirrelfur. She was thrilled to be an apprentice and eagerly awaited all the training ahead of her, though she was jealous of her brother Bearpaw, whose mentor was first Lionheart, then Fogdancer. Soon after she became an apprentice, her father died, causing her mild sadness but not piles of sorrow. Her mother died as well, later than Bayshine, making her more sad than she had been when her father died--but she'd just viewed Sootypelt as the cat whose sole purpose in life was to serve as mother to her and Bearpaw, so she wasn't too disheartened by the unfortunate event. Dapplepaw became a warrior with the name Skydapple at eleven moons of age. |
