Complaint: Colic
 
Human Equivalent: Chronic Stomach Trouble, Ulcers
 
Description: A burning, gnawing pain in the abdominal area. In the more sever cases it might be accompanied by heartburn.
 
Duration: Mild: Some Relief within 24 hours of treatment, with decreasing symptoms for up to 1 week.
Moderate: Some Relief within 24 hours of treatment, with decreasing symptoms for approximately 1 week.
Severe: Some Relief within 2 days of treatment, with decreasing symptoms for approximately 2 week.
 
Treatment: Mild:
  • Limit the patient to small meals more frequently than normal for at least the week.
  • Do not permit the patient to lie down after eating for at least the a week.
  • Treat the patient with herbs to heal the stomach.
Moderate:
  • Limit the patient to small meals more frequently than normal for at least the week.
  • Do not permit the patient to lie down after eating for at least the a week.
  • Treat the patient with herbs to heal the stomach.
Severe:
  • Limit the patient to small meals more frequently than normal for at least 2 weeks.
  • Do not permit the patient to lie down after eating for at least the 2 weeks.
  • Treat the patient with herbs to heal the stomach.
 
Residual Effects: Mild: The patient will be more prone to repeated cases of colic for at least a 1 week.
Moderate: The patient will be more prone to repeated cases of colic for at least 2 weeks.
Severe: The patient will be more prone to repeated cases of colic for at least a moon.
 
Possible Complications: Mild: Coming Soon
Moderate: Coming Soon
Severe: The patient may develop bleeding of the stomach, which can result in death.
 
Notes: This ailment occasionally results in death of the very young or old.
