Description: A perennial in which a collection of green, slightly leafy stalks grow from a central root cluster. The stalks are topped with a paw-sized flower of white petals and a yellow center. Stalks are generally taller than your average cat's ears (26 inches / 66 Centimeters). Care must be taken to avoid confusing Daisy with the Little Daisy, which is similar but smaller and in possession of different leaves.
Properties: Daisy is cooling, prized to reduce swelling and inflammation.

How to Collect : Bite the leaves off where they connect to the stems, taking care to select those that are healthy, green, and newly grown.

How to Collect : Bite the stem off above the roots. Trim off the leaves and any flower buds with the teeth. Take care to select young, healthy stems only.
How to Preserve : Lay in the sun to dry, using a branch or other tool to angle the former top of the stem downwards.
How to Store : Store in loose piles in a cool, dry place.

Leaves : Chew and apply to a swollen joint to reduce swelling.
Stems : Chew and apply to a swollen joint to reduce swelling.
