Description: The little daisy is a plant with a ring of circular leaves and small flowers. The flowers are white with a tinge of pink on the ends of the petals. When budding, the flowers look like pink and white balls covered with a leaf. The leaves are low to the ground and are a light olive green. The plant is usually smaller than 4 inches (10 centimeters) high.
Properties: The leaves aid in the healing of wounds when applied to wound and dissolves coagulated blood as well. When eaten, it can help soothe the throat and clear out lungs.

As a poultice the leaves and roots are healing and cleansing. This same poultice is also useful for bruises, bumps and assorted skin troubles in cats. The soothing nature of the leaves is also apparent in the ability of the plant to improve trouble breathing.

How to Collect : Select leaves of healthy color and lacking in damage and, using the teeth, remove by biting through where they connect to the plant.
How to Preserve : Dry the leaves throughly in full sunshine.
How to Store : Store in loose piles in a cool, dry place.

How to Collect : Select roots of firm texture, avoiding those that are soft or worm-eaten.
How to Preserve : Wash the roots in moving water, then dry carefully in full sunshine.
