Human Equivalent: Poisoning
 
Description: Poisoning is the ingestion or physical contact with a potentially deadly substance. Symptoms might include Abdominal Pain, Blurry Vision, Coma, Convulsions, Difficulty Breathing, Fever, Loss of Appetite, Pain, Severe Pain, or Weakness depending on the individual substance of poisoning.

Duration: Mild: The patient should be restored to health within 2 days.
Moderate: The patient should be restored to health within a quarter moon.
Severe: The patient should be restored to health within a half moon.
 
Treatment: Mild: Mild cases of poisoning tend to be accompanied with a variety of the following symptoms: Abdominal Pain, Blurry Vision, Fever or Pain.
  • Remove the poison either by inducing vomiting (ingestion) or washing in moving water (contact).
  • Treat the various symptoms to bring them under control
  • Keep a close eye on the cat, while giving herbs to shore the patient's system against the poison. Take care not to induce sleep, which might give the poison an advantage.
  • Continue monitoring and treatment until all symptoms (excluding neurological damage, for which little can done) have faded.
Moderate: Moderate cases of poisoning tend to be accompanied with a variety of the following symptoms: Abdominal Pain, Blurry Vision, Difficulty Breathing, Fever, Loss of Appetite, Pain, or Weakness.
  • Treat in accordance with the mild instructions.
Severe: Severe cases of poisoning tend to be accompanied with a variety of the following symptoms: Abdominal Pain, Blurry Vision, Coma, Convulsions, Difficulty Breathing, Fever, Loss of Appetite, Pain, Severe Pain, or Weakness
  • Treat in accordance with the mild instructions.
 
Residual Effects: Mild: Lingering symptoms for up to 48 hours.
Moderate: Lingering symptoms for up to a quarter moon.
Severe: Lingering symptoms for up to a half moon.
 
Possible Complications: Mild: A mild chance of lingering neurological damage.
Moderate: A moderate chance of lingering neurological damage.
Severe: A high chance of lingering neurological damage.
 
Notes: Severe cases have a high potential for fatality.
