Vox Populi
- Owlwing on Blackstar: Owlwing dislikes Blackstar because he thinks he is too confident for his, or any other cat's good.
- Snowdust on Blackstar: While she wants to trust her leader, Snowdust feels that his recent actions have been unpredictable and fears that he could become a danger to himself and WindClan.
- Owlfeather on Blackstar: Owlfeather respects her leader as she should, but ever since his temper tantrum at a gathering, she has been a bit wary, considering him a loose bomb that could set off something tha could've been easily avoided. However, Owlfeather feels a bit guilty about not being able to trust her own leader, and therefore, keeps that secret close.
- Rowanbough on Blackstar: Rowanbough's faith in Blackstar has been shattered over time. It was shaken when the cat brought an outsider into the camp and invited him to visit the nursery. Since then Blackstar's sunk further and further into a series of troubled times; The Ill-fated battle that was almost Rowanbough's own death, the time living in the barn (however necessary), and then the policy of isolation. Blackstar's choice to continue to shun gatherings as much as StarClan will permit, even after StarClan made their displeasure known with the overly obvious blue moon name of "Ill Winds", is the final straw. Blackstar is destroying his clan and he doesn't have to be happy with it even though he can't do a thing to stop it.
- Yellowfrost on Blackstar: The paranoid Yellowfrost was perhaps most leery of Blackstar due to his leader's behavior, particulary in regard to his notions about attending Gatherings. Blackstar's high position gave him the power to bring about WindClan's ruin, and Yellowfrost was watching for the day that Blackstar would wholly betray his clan, like Leopardtrack had. When Blackstar died saving Silverdust from the Badger, Yellowfrost was rather relieved. He likes the fact that his leader gave his life for a clan member, but Dawnstar makes a much better leader, in his opinion. Meanwhile, he still harbors suspicion about Blackstar's role in the mysterious death of Yellowfrost's brother, Spicestretch.
- Falcondash on Blackstar: Falcondash considers Blackstar both a personal friend and an excellent leader; she admires his willingness to think outside the box and try new things, even when his choices aren't always popular in the Clan. While her casual attitude to her leader may seem disrespectful, in reality Falcondash is intensely loyal to Blackstar through thick and thin.
