Full History :
Cacilie was impregnated by Adler, another purebred showcat. Neither had any feelings for the other, and never saw each other again. When Cacilie's owner fell ill, her care fell to her owner's sister, who was unfortunately married to a husband who had no love for cats. He was abusive to Cacilie, kicking her and throwing her down the stairs. When at last it came time for her kits to come, the mistreated she-cat had already fled.
Three kits she bore in the Moon of First Green (2006). The one she-kit she named Aleit. She reared her children in an alley behind a restaurant, and was fed scraps by the owner. One day, a waiter found the three kits alone; Cacilie had gone out to forage for food. Believing the kits to be orphans, the waiter took them in and arranged the adoptions of the two tom-kits. Aleit was not adopted, and eventually was abandoned. Cacilie never knew the fate of her children, having never seen them again after the waiter took them. She was inconsolable for a time, but kept living her life until the blizzard of 2009 came. Without adequate shelter, she died as her daughter did, frozen to death. |
