History   Key Dates   Born Named a Warrior as Darkriver Full History : Darkriver was enamored with Venomrain, and, heedless of her indifference to him, was delighted when he learned that she would bear his kits. Their single son was named Burningkit, and would become the warrior Burningnight. But Darkriver's joy was not to last. Venomrain tired quickly of motherhood, and left the clan. Darkriver pursued her, and upon learning that the love of his life had never actually cared for him, or for the life they had created together, or even for RiverClan or the warrior way of life, Darkriver became enraged and slew her. He left RiverClan almost immediately.
