Long Description :
Fancyfoot is a lean tabby tom. He has wind-blown thick tabby brown fur, the darker stripes is great contrast to the lighter. His ears and tail are of average length, though his long legs contribute to his swift ability. He has sharp teeth and claws, his fangs of pale ivory, which he shows off with a toothy smirk on regular occasions. His most striking aspect are glistening dark blue eyes, always filled with a spark of intelligence and tease.

Personality
Fancyfoot is a cocky, insensitive, jerk of a cat. Some may describe him like that, while others reserve their opinions of him for the charming, impressive, and witty tom. Neither are fully correct, but both capture aspects of him. Fancyfoot is of two layers among many. He strikes one as over-confident, forward, and daring. Beneath that, he harbors a self-conscious conscience, and a shaky emotional framework. Talking too much or laughing too loud is a rare window into his insecurities, and also gotten him into trouble. He's very quick-thinking, slippery as a fish, and only those who command a great deal of authority and determination can really tie him down. While Fancyfoot flaunts his stuff for the she-cats, he is also very inwardly selfish, and strays from commitment. He might tell you when faced with such a description that it's because he fears letting people down, but in reality, he doesn't want to be tied down. So for now, he'll blow you off with a tell-tale grin, but make up for it later in a fight or maybe just sharing tongues. He's loyal, without a doubt, but is careful not to place himself in situations where he would have to sacrifice himself in the name of the warrior code... Or perhaps that's just luck. He is always ready to insult someone else, as long as they aren't around to hear him. Fancyfoot is not always open to change, and he dislikes outsiders of the Clans, making him hostile and snobby to the former loners of RiverClan, like Newheart and Thistlefur. He always thinks himself greater then other cats, and will waste no opportunity to prove this point, even though he himself has a blatant disrespect for the rules and most of his clanmates.

Fancykit was born into a family of four, including himself. His sister was never given a name, nor is he aware he ever had one, as she died at birth. His mother, Bankflower, a dainty and beautiful clay coloured queen was always condemning him to the nursery, over-protective after her former failures to bear kits. While Midnightfur, a large dark brown tabby, was his wayward father, who distanced himself from both his mate and son. This was unusual because before the birth of his kit, Midnightfur had appeared devoted to Bankflower.
As a kit, like most of his fellow littermates, Fancykit was an oblivious troublemaker. He told his peers unbelievable stories of his noble linage and quickly became a likable kit within his peer group. Meanwhile, Fancykit was an impressively swift cat on land, and older cats clearly noted that he would become a good hunter. Unfortunately for Fancykit, he became a little over confident in his new skill and flaunted it to an obnoxious point. One of the other kits had started a nasty rumor that his father could not possibly be Midnightfur, but instead that his mother had somehow cross-paths with a WindClanner, Fancykit's alleged true father. Bewildered and hurt, the rumor continued to stick among his former friends into apprenticeship. It was then that the newly named Fancypaw hit the water-- with a resounding splash that would echo into all his life. Fancypaw, dead set on proving his RiverClan heritage, worked hard and became a skilled swimmer. So the rumor dropped, though Fancypaw always remained slightly distant from the toms of his agegroup, who had originally started the rumor. As a warrior, Fancyfoot could outrun a hare and outswim a fish (or so his mother always bragged). Though his thin frame paid him no advantage in battles. He was now a young warrior, and a credit to his Clan. Bankflower, his much loved mother, was gravely injured on the Thunderpath, and died soon after. Much to the surprise of the Clan, Fancyfoot got over her death quickly, modeling after his only living family member, Midnightfur. After that, Fancyfoot's life has so-far remained rather uneventful. |
