Long Description :

Howlingfang was an orange tabby tom of an above-average size. His long coat hid a frame that was muscular, even for a clan cat. A single white locket adorned his powerful chest.

Personality

Howlingfang was a strong willed cat who possessed remarkable courage. He was aggressive in battle, and while he was hostile towards other clans, towards his clanmates he was good-humored. The orange tabby liked to feel useful, and grew restless unless he kept himself busy.

Full History :

Howlingfang was originally Burrkit, born to a WindClan couple in a litter of three. Born in the midst of the Great War, the orange tom-kit had been named after the Thorny Burr (aka Burdock), for its healing properties. He was renamed Tigerpaw, after his fierce courage and striped pelt - and because "Tiger" better fit his personality than the plant. His prowess was proven at a young age; in reward for the fury with which the apprentice had battled, claw and fang, a howling whirlwind, he was made a warrior as Howlingfang.

He cared for his two sisters, Tanclaw and Silverstreak, but was not obsessively concerned with them; they went their way, and he went his. He was happy, however, when Silverstreak gave birth to a healthy she-kit; she would strengthen the clan. Howlingfang saw himself as the ideal role model for his niece, who would become Juniperleaf.

In the Moon of Unnamed Blue ('04), a reluctant Howlingfang was compelled to retire; his body couldn't keep up with his spirit after so many moons of rough living and battle. He finally passed away in his sleep from old age.
