Appearance   Short Description : A gray mackerel tabby she-cat with green eyes Long Description : Technically described as a black-silver mackarel torbie she-cat, Lightningstrike has long, pale gray fur with slightly darker tabby markings which become darkest on and around her face and frong legs, though they never really stand out all that dramatically. A few flecks and rings of a subtle ginger color that actually appears somewhat cinnamon, adorn her coat, though very minimally, it seems. Gray is definately the dominant color in her pelt. Her fur itself is long and silky - and she intends to keep it that way. Lightningstrike grooms her long pelt fairly often to keep it from getting to matted and tangled, which would most likely drive her nuts. It drives her nuts enough when things get tangled in her pelt. However, as annoying as her thick pelt can be at times, it does do a good job of keeping the cold out and is very water-resitant, which is good because she is a RiverClan cat. Surprisingly, Lightningstrike has a fairly slim build, though that is pretty much unnoticable with her thick pelt. And while her pelt has a tendancy to make her look larger than she really is, neither does it make her look overly large. Overall, she actually appears to be about average size for a she-cat. As is probably expected, her ears are tufted, though not overly, and her whiskers are fairly long. Lightningstrikes eyes olive green in colour.

Personality     A bit of a perfectionist, Lightningstrike is not the most sociable cat in RiverClan. While she is good-natured and a generally friendly cat, you wont see her out there jumping around and trying to make friends with /every/ cat and is not exactly what youd call the most outgoing. Lightningstrike can be a bit shy and definately wouldnt enjoy being, say, leader or even deputy. Power has never been something shes desired, unlike some cats, and her only real ambition is to be of whatever service she can to her Clan. Unshakably loyal, both of her Clan and to her friends and, while those close friends are sometimes numbered, the friends she does have she holds in the highest esteem. When around her friends, Lightningstrike can be easygoing and very laid back in attitude; often times showing her other side - the crazy, random, friendly, hyper one. However, this side only comes out when she is comfortable, and the rest of the time she can seem a bit uptight, though still friendly.

History   Key Dates   Born Ashkit Apprenticed as Lightningpaw Named a Warrior as Lightningstrike Killed by a predator in the Moon of Tiger's Wrath (2007) Full History : Born to a RiverClan she-cat by the name of Brightfoot and sired by a RiverClan tom called Sootpelt; Lightningstrike had a fairly uneventful kithood. Her parents treated her well and nothing of interest really happened; she was raised just like every other kit with loving parents. As per usual, at the age of 6 moons, her and her sister [unnamed], given their apprentice names. Lightningstrike, then Ashkit, recieved the apprentice name Lightningpaw, in honor of her speed. A few moons into each sisters apprenticship things were still going well. Lightningpaw excelled at hunting, espicially fishing, and swimming and showed great promise. Her sister was also a promising apprentice. It was at this point, just a moon or so before the two she-cats were probably due for their warrior names that tragedy struck. One day, her parents went out on a hunting trip - and never came back. Their bodies were found a few days later by the river. No cat really knows what killed them, though many prophesize that they fell or were pushed into the river, got caught under the thick ice that had been blanketing the river at that point, and drowned. To this day, not even Lightningstrike knows. Of course, as is expected when one had lost a close family member or relative, Lightningpaw was traumatized and spent many hours contemplating why StarClan would be so cruel as to take away her parents. During this time of depression, her skills in both hunting and fighting slipped, as though she didnt care enough about them anymore. And, thankfully, as almost always happens, they improved again after a good amount of time as Lightningstrike slowly began to get over the loss of her parents. Eventually, though probably a moon late due to the slip in her performances at training sessions, Lightningstrike was made a warrior and given her name. Currently, her goal is to rebuild a group of friends once again, as she lost almost all of them during her depressed state when she was often times edgy and snapped at them for interrupting her. On the second day of the Moon of Tiger's Wrath (2007), Lightningstrike was killed by the Fisher.
