Short Description :

A protective natural solid Tonkinese with aqua eyes and a red collar

Long Description :

Pheonix is a purebred Tonkinese. His body is a rich brown which shades into a slightly lighter hue on his underbelly. He has darker brown points (mask, ears, feet and tail). His legs are rather slim and his back legs are slightly longer then the front pair. He has clear brilliant aqua eyes that seem almost gray. His fur is short, soft and silky. He wears a bright red collar with a pale blue metal tag in the shape of an oval.

Personality

Pheonix is usually reserved in his speech, speaking when spoken to but this doesn't equate to shyness. Pheonix is a very active cat who likes to patrol 'his' turf even though it includes several other houses with resident cats. He likes to consider himself a sort of protector and has gotten into several fights he didn't need to in order to help another cat out. He is very attatched to his owner and would never dream of abandoning him.

Full History :

Pheonix was the only kitten born to Sierra when she was bred to a neighboring tom named Jasper. Sierra never really met Jasper before then and while raising Pheonix rarely spoke with him. As such Pheonix did not know his father. Instead, his mother's older brother Sebastian became a fatherly figure in Pheonix's life. Sebastian taught Pheonix a little bit how to defend himself but mostly how to climb and explore.

When Pheonix was a year old he was given to a friend of the family, a priest named McDuncan. Pheonix was reluctant to leave the only family he knew but after meeting McDuncan several times before McDuncan took him home Pheonix grew to trust the man. When the time came to leave he went without a fuss. Pheonix was kept in the house for two moons after his arrival but eventually McDuncan allowed Pheonix to begin to wander the church grounds.

Pheonix has since felt more at home then he had ever felt before. He often attends masses on Sunday and curls up in a pew on the back. He has begun to study the bible and learn all he can about the religion his master follows. During such studies he has also become facinated with the tales of crusades and mighty knights.
