Long Description :
Rabbitfoot is a long-haired light brown she-cat with a mask-and-mantle white pattern. She is slightly larger than the average cat and has gold eyes. Rabbitfoot is usually well-groomed due to her habit of cleaning herself whenever possible. She is careful to keep herself in good condition by remaining active whenever possible, and so her muscles are sleek and strong. Her whiskers are often slightly bent as a result of a nervous habit.

Personality
Rabbitfoot is quick to suspect danger from predators or rival clans. Her quick reflexes make her more prepared for unexpected attacks. Despite her skittish nature in times of peace, she believes that her nerves will calm once she takes part in planned battles where the element of surprise will be less of an issue. She believes that the Warrior Code should be taken literally, and will voice her disapproval when it is broken. Due to her strong faith in StarClan, she has utmost respect for her leader and medicine cat, believing that they can do no wrong once chosen by StarClan. She takes her orders from her leader and deputy very seriously, and will sometimes go out of her way to make sure that others are following their orders. Rabbitfoot becomes nervous when cats don't follow orders, as she believes all orders are given for a reason by the clan leader and deputy. She also fears her superiors associating her with breaking the Warrior Code in any way. Unless another cat breaks the warrior code or disobeys orders, Rabbitfoot is never confrontational. One thing Rabbitfoot holds almost as high as the Warrior Code is the state of her fur. Because of its length, she often thinks that it's dirtier than it is. If she has no orders to follow or duties to perform, she will groom herself. If another cat offers to share tongues with her she will allow them to clean her, but she prefers to do it herself. When she gets nervous about anything from the Warrior Code to her fur, she will rub her whiskers with her paws. Rabbitfoot harbors a lingering unease with the rivers of her Clan's territory which she struggles to overcome.

History

Full History :
Rabbitfoot was born in Newleaf to Acornnose and Hailfur as Cedarkit. Her parents had no other kits and no other litters. Before she reached her third month of life, Rabbitfoot's father, Acornnose, disappeared on a hunting patrol near the Lower East Bank. His body was found days later by a RiverClan hunting patrol, and an examination from Seafur found multiple adder bites, enough to take Acornnose's life. During her kithood, Cedarkit would stay close to her mother and only explore the camp when supervised and explicitly given permission. She preferred hearing about Clan traditions and the history of RiverClan from her mother or the elders. She was shaken by Birdtail's death during the Moon of Melting Waters (2007), and kept a fear of the rivers near her camp for several moons, and is something she continues to struggle with to this day.
Once becoming an apprentice, Cedarkit's name was made Rabbitpaw for her skittish nature. She began to realize the competition that she would have to overcome in order to become a valuable warrior to RiverClan. The feelings of beginning her apprentice training were mixed for Rabbitpaw, as many cats were still falling victim of the Killingcough. She tried her hardest not to draw attention to herself during these deaths. Meanwhile, she was trained to hunt so she could feed her clan. Once the deaths began to lower during the Moon of Cheetah's Flight (2007) and the panic of the Killingcough began to draw to a close, she realized how much she wanted to complete her proper training. She decided to commit herself to no longer cowering from her destiny to become a warrior. To prove herself, Rabbitpaw began to use her reflexes and speed to hunt for quicker animals such as rabbits and squirrels. She completed her six moons of training that were typical of an apprentice, and was made a warrior during the Moon of First Fishing (2008). Wetstar gave Rabbitfoot her name for her life-long speed and her rabbit-like reflexes. Still a young warrior, Rabbitfoot plans to further prove herself as a competent member of RiverClan. On the 1st Day of the Moon of Tiger's Wrath (2009) she was on a hunting patrol with Strongheart when the blizzard blew in over the top of them, and they slowly froze trying to ride out the storm. |
