Appearance   Short Description : A sleek black bi-color she-cat with blue eyes Long Description : :Ravenwing is a small, short-haired black cat. Three of her paws are white while the right hind paw remains black. White continues to cover the lower portion of her muzzle, the majority of her stomach, and half of her tail. She has large round dark blue eyes that always hold a glint of her cleverness in them. Her ears (one of which is completely white) are normal sized for a cat of her structure. Built slightly more for speed than power, Ravenwing has a runner's legs and long tail for balance. Two long claw marks separate the fur running down Ravenwing's back, spoiling the look of her fur. They run from the left shoulder down to the left flank and are one of her more noticeable features. Her short fur is well kept and clean, but grows slightly shaggier around her face, tail, and chest. But it is not very noticable. Her whiskers are a light shade white while her claws are black. There are smaller scars along her fore-legs and face, but fur has grown enough to mostly cover them. Ravenwing is one of the larger small cats, so her size reaches a place that is a bit below average for a cat.

Personality     :Ravenwing is a cat that you can make friends with easily. Shes usualy lax, or laid back, watching the clan with a careful eye. Being the cheerful cat that she is, Ravenwing can usually be found talking to the senior warriors, and when Whitestar isn't looking particularly in her direction, being a little idler with the warriors of her clan. But if any cat gets out of line a little to often, they're going to get hell for it. The second thing that you might notice about this cat is that she thinks shes rather funny at time. Full with mock enthusiasm while giving patrols right at the moment each cat has just sat down for a rest, she laughs to herself. But every once and a while, Ravenwing will crack a joke that is actually funny to most. She has a sense of humor, which is one of her few weaknesses. If some cat is in trouble, and by chance, they make her laugh, they will usually end up slightly less punished then they should have been. But as every cat does, Ravenwing too has a darker side. StarClan gave her good nature a touch of fierce aggression and power. There is a reason she is deputy. Ravenwing will not stop until her opinion is voiced, heard, and obeyed. Anyone that dares to disobey her while she is in this sort of mood will feel the wrath of Ravenwing. With this temper, she tends to hold grudges for a long period of time, which may rarely blind her judgment. Most of the time, she has a clear head and makes the decisions she thinks best for her clan. Ravenwing also has fears. She despises the swamps for a reason most of the clan knows. As a kit she had almost drowned in them, so she is slightly hesitant when it comes to going near them for any reason that could be avoided or forgotten. It is not that noticeable that she tends to stay clear of the swamps, but she will be the first one there if a cat is trapped in them. She doesn't want anyone, maybe not even an enemy warrior, to endure the fate that she almost had, and the one her friend Morningpelt had suffered.

They were both ShoadowClan cats. As a kit, Ravenwing was known as Blackkit. She was always getting into trouble. One day, When Blackkit was about 4 moons old, she wandered out of the camp and fell into the Swamp. With the muck weighing the young kit down, she almost drowned. If it wasn't for a young tom warrior walking out of the camp and hearing her screams for help, she would have died. The tom had some difficulty pulling the small kit out of the murky waters, but somehow, he manged to pull her out. The tom was thanked so much by Blackkits mother, that he had trouble getting away from her. Blackkit was scolded for wandering out of the camp and was punished by having to stay in the nursery for 5 days. Ever sence, Blackkit had been wary of the Swamp and its murky waters the had envolped her and almost killed her. At 6 moons, Blackkit was apprenticed as Blackpaw. Her mentor was the young tom that had pulled her out of the Swamp. He was a great mentor and taught her every thing he knew. The best fighting moves, the quietest stalk, everything. At 12 moons, Blackpaw was made a warrior. Her warrior name was Blackpelt. Soon after her Warrior Ceremony, Blackpelt was attacked in the camp by a sleek black bird. It left a long scar down her back and her name was changed to Ravenwing. The last anyone ever saw of the bird was its powerful wings disappearing into the night sky. At 14 moons, Ruggedpelt died from an unknown source and a few moons later, Pineflower died too. Sadly, Ravenwing continued her duties as a warrior for 12 more moons. She worked twice as hard as she usually did and was soon a respected member of ShadowClan. Sadly, the old leader of ShadowClan had spent his last life and Whitestripe became the new leader of ShadowClan. On the night Whitestar returned form Mothermouth, Ravenwing was named deputy. It was one of the most thrilling moments of Ravenwing's life. Ravenwing is now 28 moons old and is now the respectably deputy of ShadowClan. At 27 moons of age, Ravenwing stumbled upon an abandoned litter of Dog-Kits with a patrol (Shatteredtail and Silverheart), only one was still alive. Feeling sorry for it, they brought it back to camp, hoping Whitestar would accept it and not kill to poor creature. She did, and the Dog-kit was named Dogkit. At 28 moons of age, Ravenwing was given the apprentice Blizzardpaw to train. On the sixth day of the Moon of First Fishing (2007), Ravenwing died after starving herself so that her Clanmates would have enough fresh-kill.
