The death of her mate made her realize that life is short and that she should savor every minute of it. So by doing what makes her happy, she is actually savoring every bit of life.

She lived in her Housefolk's home until she met her future mate, Jacob. She had a kit, and the kit was taken away from her to live with a new family when she was old enough to live with another family. Sky's mate died from injuries sustained from saving her from a dog attack. Sky was heartbroken for a while, but then she moved on. Now she spends her days being lazy, laying on the sides of the fireplace and on the lawn. Sky joined her mate, Jacob, on the 1st day of First Fishing (2008). She died from the injuries sustained when she fell off a roof.
