Appearance   Short Description : A gray bi-color tom with pale amber eyes Long Description : Smokeclaw has a dark blue pelt. His fur is short and thick, and his whiskers are short and pale. His eyes are very pale amber, edging toward yellow. His claws and teeth are also quite sharp. His build is muscular, with powerful hind legs. He also has white paws and chest.

Personality     Smokeclaw fiercely believes in the warrior code, and tries to follow it to the letter. If any cat from another Clan was foolish enough to cross the Thunderpath and trespass on ShadowClan territory, Smokeclaw would attack them unless they had a very good reason for trespassing. Smokeclaw often acts aggressive, believing that other Clans are inferior and that ShadowClan and the warrior code should be protected at all costs. He can be described as clever, but he can also be ruthless and merciless. In his opinion, very few cats should be given second chances, prefferably none at all. He also believes that punishment is the best way of learning a lesson. However, he respects his leader and deputy and stands by their decisions, even if he doesn't always agree with them. His sole goal in life is to try to be the best warrior he can be and protect his to Clan.

Smokekit and his mother were never close to his father. Littlenose played little part in his son's life, and seemed to have no special relationship with Creamwhisker, nor did she seem to have any romantic relationship with him. Smokekit spent as little time possible in the nursrey, preffering to explore the camp. Smokekit soon became apprenticed as Smokepaw, and was very excited to finally be able to venture outside of camp. His mentor immediately took him on a tour of ShadowClan's territory. The next day, Smokepaw was excited and ready for a day packed with training. However, his mentor instead assigned him to clean the elders' den. Smokepaw soon grew to respect the elders and the apprentices' tasks, but he still enjoyed training more. About five moons into his training, Smokepaw was chosen to visit Highstones. Although he wasn't chosen to enter Mothermouth, Smokepaw still felt close to his warrior ancestors and proudly stood guard outside Mothermouth. As Smokepaw was now an older apprentice, he spent less and less time caring for the elders and changing bedding and more time out on hunting patrols. When Smokepaw was six moons into his training, the deputy sent him on an assesment. Smokepaw spent most of the day hunting, and returned to camp carrying several mice and birds. Afterwards, he was drilled on his fighting skills, simulating attacks in one-on-one situations and with the other apprentices. His mentor, who had watched the assesment, informed Smokepaw that he believed that he had done well, both in hunting and fighting. The day afterward, Smokepaw was made a warrior. Smokeclaw proudly stood his vigil outside camp the night of his warrior ceremony. He was very pleased that his name showed off his strength and fighting skills. Finally, he was free from his apprentice duties and free to do everything from lead patrols and maybe participate in battles. As the moons went by, Smokeclaw worked even harder to become a great warrior. Smokeclaw has never had an apprentice, but has always wondered what it would be like to teach a young cat the ways of ShadowClan. He hopes to become deputy or even leader someday, and gaining an apprentice would help to put his paws on that path. Smokeclaw strives to do his best at everything, especially in front of his leader, but he tries not to be seen as a show-off. If there were any kits in the nursrey, Smokeclaw would try to make friends with them. But there are none, and Smokeclaw often looks sadly at the empty nursrey as he strolls through the camp. In the Moon of the Long Sun (2007), Smokeclaw's father died, killed by the Killingcough. Smokeclaw was disapointed that a strong warrior had been lost, but did not feel any personal loss for his father, nor did his mother mourn the cat who had sired her son. Creamwhisker did not take on another mate, as the Killingcough was still raging through the camp. About a moon after Littlenose's death, Creamwhisker fell ill. She was quickly taking by the Killingcough. Smokeclaw mourned his mother's death, more so than his father's. He was slain by a Heron on the 9th day of the Moon of Cheetah's Flight (2008).
