RP Situation

Reply to the following RP Post In Character.

The young apprentice Ratpaw shrunk back, fur sucked tight to her body in fear as she cowered in front of her mentor, eyes wide with fear as she almost disappeared in the massive tom’s shadow.
”The Clan comes first!” Goldstripe hissed lowly, his already massive cream tabby pelt raised in anger. ”The elders saw you take the last bird, before they’d been fed. Have you no respect for those who devoted their lives to ensuring you had a place to live, to hunt, to be born?!” the apprentice's mentor, an older warrior, growled, fangs bared menacingly. The apprentice, promoted just a moon ago, seemed on the verge of fainting, her whole body trembling.

RP Situation

The deputy (your character) is seated in the camp, serving a term on watch as the camp sentinel. There is a call, loud and piercing not far from the camp. "ShadowClan?" The pawfalls move closer and closer to camp, coming towards the entrance by following the worn path most of the clan use in their comings and goings. "I'm from RiverClan. I have a message from Sleekstar."

Four

RP Situation

Reply to the following RP Post In Character as the character you wish to play as Deputy, acting as if that character has the rank. Your character is just finishing a meal near the Fresh-kill pile. Elmstar is out with a hunting patrol and unavalible.

Goldstripe limped into camp, his rear leg deeply clawed and his tail hanging almost useless. His shoulders and face also bore the marks of combat, long shallow gashes that showed he'd gone face to face with the enemy. "Elmstar!?" He yowled the name with a worried ton, scanning the camp. He didn't spot his leader, but he did spot the deputy, he limped through camp and up to his Deputy, who was seated near the fresh-kill pile. "It was an ambush, Bloodstar, Hopestorm... and a red and white tom I didn't get a good look at. Made it look like the little tom was hunting, so I went for him. Fought like a cornered adder and then the other two took me from behind, growling something about revenge."

2.) The warm rays of the sun shone upon him as Crescentglow returned to camp. His tall frame padded through camp, ears alert as he heard the accusing yowl. Quickening his step, he spotted the pair and the cowering apprentice, mentally wincing at the brutality of Goldstripe's voice."Goldstripe, she was just hungry. It was an honest mistake." His emerald eyes flashed to Ratpaw."A mistake she won't make again. Right?" Turning back to Goldstripe he attempted to continue to calm him down."Why don't you two go hunting and have her bring back as much as she can, not just to add to the fresh kill pile, but to remind her that she isn't just hunting for herself, but for the clan."
3.) Serving as sentinel had its up and downs, but few times offered this much excitement, or danger. Eyes honed in on the shape that approached, alerted by the sound of his desperate yowl."Stay put!" He yelled down before descending from his perch and approaching the Riverclanner."What is your message, I'll deliver it to Elmstar right away." He'd have to find a warrior to watch this one, just to make sure before he let Elmstar know.
4.) Blood. Crescentglow looked up from the fresh kill pile sharply, familiar with the scent. He spotted Goldstripe in a horrid condition, and his eyes widened at what he heard. Treacherous Thunderclan!"Ravenblink!" He rushed to the medicine cat's den, desperate to fetch Goldstripe aide."Tend to Goldstripe. I want our fastest warrior to catch up with Elmstar's patrol - the Marshes- and bring him back so we can prepare to confront them."
5.) I believe I am holding true to my responsibilities since I've become staff. As we are only now picking up for the summer, I am also picking up my activity and participating in threads.

Accepted Application from Bedforddanes

Application Status: Accepted
1.) Though Aspenbright has remained on-camera for her lifespan in the game, I will be answering this question as though she is a somewhat new character, as she has very limited gameplay on-camera until I adopted her, with her last thread having taken place when she was a new apprentice. Aspenbright is a rather intelligent she-cat (in her own opinion), and she is of prime age (twenty five moons) to receive her first apprentice -- she is also recognized as a senior warrior within her own clan's ranks. Her cautious nature could serve as a useful asset while organizing and managing patrols, and the numerous dangers she has seen during her time (i.e. the heron's plight on ShadowClan and the blizzard that swept through the forests) could be recalled in times where one would need to remember how exactly to deal with a dangerous situation. Though of little use to Aspenbright being a potential deputy, she adores kits and recognizes that they are a necessary pleasantry brought to the clan, and she would have no problem with providing ShadowClan with new blood for their nursery.
2.) Having just returned from a hunting patrol, Aspenbright pinned her ears back slightly from across camp as she saw Goldstripe losing his temper with Ratpaw. She was a new apprentice -- mistakes would be made, and she padded over to Goldstripe, clearing her throat a little and lashing her tail in irritation. "Goldstripe. Everyone slips up and now then -- lest I remind you of the mistakes you surely made as an apprentice? Surely I can remind Elmstar if you don't cool off a bit, hmm?" Turning her head towards Ratpaw, kindness returned to her gaze, and she nodded as she mewed "You can help clear out what little bedding the elders have dirtied when the sundown patrol sets out. They'll welcome the company, and you can bring them some dinner as well." Tilting her head towards the direction of the apprentices den, eyes glimmering with amusement, she let out a small purr. "Go and see if there are any gaps in the den wall, Ratpaw."
3.) Jumping to her paws, the lull of sentinel duty quickly dissipating, Aspenbright's patchwork fur stood on edge as she peered out into the darkness. Quickly scanning camp for any warrior out and about at the moment (StarClan, please let someone be making dirt right now, she thought as she leapt off of her seat and padded over to the intruder. "And what business does RiverClan have with us? Elmstar will be out once I know the severity of the situation." Hopefully she could send this cat on their way. If it was a small problem, she could take care of it on her own and consult Elmstar later.
4.) Aspenbright's dinner had been delectable, but her head snapped up as soon as she scented the thick, acrid musk of blood wafting through the air. Springing to her paws when she saw Goldstripe, and widening her eyes when she heard who had attacked him, her blood began to boil furiously, flowing through her veins at a pace she'd never felt before. Rushing over to Ravenblink's den and yowling his name and the situation, she spat onto the ground in rage, fur raised and puffed out to its fullest as she returned to the injured tomcat. "I don't know why I'm surprised -- of course ThunderClan would pull a three on one ambush, the dirty cowards! I'll fetch another cat and if you're up to it, either all three of us or just a pair will go and retrieve Elmstar. This isn't going to be let go, you can believe that."
5.) Having been a member of CoSC for coming up on four months, I have been consistently involved with threads and (attempting) to help improve the project information drive. I would like to become staff because I believe it would be a great way to see the inner workings of the game, help improve on future world plots and come up with interesting plots for ShadowClan (and maybe the others!) when Elmstar passes away and, if chosen, Aspenbright will lead the clan. Summer is approaching and I will continue to try my absolute best to be consistent with my activity and my efforts to help improve the game.
