Physical Description: The male Blackpoll Warbler's nonbreeding plumage has yellowish-olive upperparts, nape, and crown with black striping. Faint dark streaks mark its light yellow chest. Its rump is solid gray. Its wings, except for two white wingbars, are black, as is its tail.

The female Blackpoll Warbler has a gray to olive-green back that is streaked with black feathers. Its face and faintly striped chest are pale yellow.

Behavior: The Blackpoll Warbler migrate over the clan lands in small flocks in the spring and fall. They may be found in woodlands and shrubby areas during the day.
Social Organization: Blackpoll Warblers stay in small flocks of up to 15 birds.
Approval Level*: Moderator; They only pass through the clan lands in the spring and fall, during their migration to and from their breeding grounds.
Kill Difficulty: Low; Though it is difficult to hunt, once in a predators grasp, it has no chance of escaping.
Hunting Difficulty: Specialty - Group Flying; They are very alert, have loud alarm calls, and need to be isolated from the rest of the flock before one can even attempt hunting them.
