Physical Description: The Palm Warbler is minute with brownish-olive wings and back. Its radiant yellow undertail is displayed frequently, due to the songbird's habit of wagging its tail up and down. Its underparts are yellowish-feathered as well, and its sides are marked with faded streaks. The Palm Warbler's head is capped in rich chestnut, and a yellow line runs around and over its eye.
Physical Statistics: Length: 4.7 - 5.5 Inches (12 - 14 Centimeters)
Weight: 0.2 - 0.5 Ounces (7 - 13 Grams)
Wingspan: 7.9 - 8.3 Inches (20 - 21 Centimeters)
Behavior: This bird of song is found in abundance among the bogs of ShadowClan, the open woodland and heavy undergrowth of ThunderClan, and in the River Copse of RiverClan during the summer months, although it may also be present in late spring or early fall. They build their nests on the ground, at the base of trees, and spend much of the day foraging for food on the ground and in the flora.
Social Organization: Palm Warblers are monogamous maters, and migrate to and from the clans in great flocks.
Approval Level*: None; Although these birds are common in ShadowClan, ThunderClan, and RiverClan, they are scarcely seen in open lands such as the moors of WindClan.
Kill Difficulty: Low; Palm Warblers are diminutive in size and have no means to defend themselves.
Hunting Difficulty: Advanced; These birds are swift and strong in flight, and have a shrill, piercing alarm call they will sound if they sense predators.
Food Quality: Medium; The meat is rich in nutrients and savor; however, it proves much too small to fill the belly of even one cat.
*Some creatures require approval to appear in RP. This is to make sure the Admins and Mods who need to know are fully aware of a species currently active in their area.
These ratings are mainly for those creatures that are uncommon or pose a threat of some sort to the cats.
