Behavior: | The Red-winged Blackbird spends most of it's time in marshes, but also will live on fields, and occasionally in forests along bodies of water. It eats primarily insects. The males spend most of their time in trees, singing, while the females slink through the underbrush. They both defend their nests from intruders. They are good fliers. | |
