	Physical Description:	Mourning Doves are light brown or gray, with a short, black beak. The male's head is blueish-gray. The tail is long and tapered, and juveniles are usually colored darker then the adults.

	Behavior:	Mourning Doves live in open woodland and are active during the day. They spend a good deal of time on the ground, searching for food like seeds and grasses.
	Social Organization:	Mourning Doves are solitary except when raising young and mating.
