	Physical Description:	Northern flying squirrels glide using a membrane between their limbs and flattened tails. Their fur is dark dusky tan with a white underside.

	Behavior:	Flying squirrels glide between trees in the daytime to feed on tree fungi. They keep to the tree-tops and avoid the ground.
