A mixed set of impressed and disapproving reactions have fallen upon his mate and kit, Newheart and Cardinalpaw in his absence. The changes in the Clan however are reflecting a change in treatment of cats with non-RiverClan ancestry. RiverClan remains slightly unsettled after the former rouge, Thistlefur, suddenly returned to his roots and left RiverClan. A mixed set of impressed and disapproving reactions have fallen upon his mate and kit, Newheart and Cardinalpaw in his absence. The changes in the Clan however are reflecting a change in treatment of cats with non-RiverClan ancestry. Wetstar himself elected to mentor Cardinalpaw and Newheart selected to mentor Walnutpaw, leaving RiverClan with an empty nursery.
