A brown spotted tabby American Bobtail she-cat
Long Description :
Aliz is an example of a somewhat unusual breed -- she is an American Bobtail. Her pelt is short but rather thick, and her fur appears the tiniest bit messy on her chest and belly. She is a brown spotted tabby, with a semi-cobby body with substantial muscling, and her legs are heavy, with large, round paws. Her eyes are a bright yellow-green in color. Her tail is a short, thick muss of fur that stops not far out from her body.

Personality
Considering herself to be friendly and inquisitive, Aliz has been spoiled by a safe upbringing, and knows little of the dangers that lie outside her home and in the forests beyond. She is a chatty she-cat, always willing to talk to strangers, and one day this may get her in trouble, for she has a problem with knowing when to shut up. A generally (in her own opinion) kind she-cat, it takes a lot for Aliz to lose her temper, and even when she does, it usually doesn't last longer than a few short moments of hissing and raised hackles before she calms down and collects herself. She has basic knowledge concerning hunting and defending herself, but advanced techniques are lost to her as of a current time.

Born alongside two sisters (and named Spot by her breeder), Aliz was adopted at a young age from a breeder who lived down the street from her housefolk. Her parents were show cats who had produced several litters before her, and they were well acquainted with each other.
Her owners are both elementary school teachers, and she has been exposed to a plethora of both children and knowledge in her time living with them. She believes human children can be a nuisance, what with the constant pulling and tugging of ears and tail (no matter how short hers may be), but she tolerates them, and is sometimes brought into the private school her owners teach at and allowed to wander around the classroom. Her owners currently have a young son, and she tolerates him as best she can -- she has a slight disliking of him, because he usually attempts to play with her far too roughly. When Aliz was about a year and a half old, an older tomcat by the name of Sampson moved into the home next door to her. She quickly became friends with him, and he taught her how to hone the instinctual hunting and defense techniques she was born with -- when she asked him why, he merely shrugged and said that anything could happen. Sampson was taken away one day by his owners and never came back, which has caused Aliz some bit of distress, but she still thinks of him from time to time and practices what he taught her. |
