Long Description :
Brightdawn is a shorthaired cat with soft pads and an average-length tail. She has very pale gray-blue eyes, which sparkle when she's teasing. Her pelt is a pale ginger, with darker tabby stripes. She has a white underbelly and paws.

Personality
Brightdawn often finds it hard to sit still and is often not very attentive. Brightdawn likes to tease, and often she tries to see the bright side of things. Brightdawn will not usually stop something until it is finished; she is not very easily put of from something, and tries to be friendly; she doesn't like to insult cats and can be quite outgoing and not very shy, meaning that she is generally unafraid of new or strange cats and tries to treat every cat in her Clan as a friend. She is also very curious; having a natural curiosity of strange, unknown things and sometimes poking her nose into things that aren't her business.

History
Key Dates
Full History :
Brightkit was the only living kit in her litter; her sister was stillborn. As a result, she was somewhat coddled by her mother, Squirrelleap, which she disliked. However, Squirrelleap was sent out on more and more hunting patrols as Brightkit grew older, giving Squirrelleap less time to spend coddling her daughter. Brightkit enjoyed spending time outside of the nursery, watching the apprentices practice hunting and fighting moves. Brightkit attempted to imitate them, eagerly awaiting the day when she would become an apprentice.
Brightkit became the apprentice Brightpaw on her sixth-moon birthday. Brightpaw's mother, Squirrelleap, fell to the deadly Killingcough about three moons after Brightpaw became an apprentice. Though very much saddened by her loss, Brightpaw's eagerness to learn to be a warrior was still bright. She cared for the elders and practiced basic hunting and fighting moves with her mentor. Brightpaw was easily distracted by a moth or a leaf, but as she progressed in her apprenticeship she learned to be more attentive. At the end of the Moon of the Killingcough (2007), Redfoot, Brightpaw's sire, fell to the deadly sickness. Brightpaw was devastated at losing both of her parents in one moon, but quickly recovered to put her whole heart into her training. About five moons into her training, Brightpaw was taken to the Moonstone. She was not chosen to go inside, but she was still honored and excited to make the long journey from ThunderClan territory to Highstones. About a moon later, she was put through what she later found out to be her final assessment. On the following day the Clan leader named her a warrior. Brightdawn was very proud to finally be made a warrior, and could hardly wait until morning as she kept the traditional warrior's vigil. The following night was so exciting; Brightdawn could finally sleep in the warriors' den! She was slightly crushed by the fact that, as ThunderClan's newest warrior, she would be given a den near the outside. Although she was still surrounded by the other cats' warm body heat, she wasn't surrounded on all sides. She stocked her den with extra moss and feathers to keep herself warm in leaf-bare, missing her spot in the warm center of the apprentices' den as one of the senior apprentices. Brightdawn enjoys going on patrols as a warrior, even though she's still too young to lead one. Since ThunderClan has the most borders out of all the Clans, border patrols explore a variety of places. Brightdawn dislikes going near the Thunderpath ShadowClan border, and credits ShadowClan for picking a border that very few would be willing to risk crossing. Brightdawn also dislikes patrolling near the Twolegplace; she feels uneasy around Twolegs. As she is still a young warrior, Brightdawn still has much to learn, much experience to gain. She hasn't participated in any battles since she became a warrior, or had the honor of going to a Gathering as a warrior. She hopes to one day become a respected senior warrior, and to help her Clan in any way she can. Brightdawn hasn't thought much about receiving an apprentice; although she thinks it might be interesting, she realizes that she is still very young. Recently, she has begun to think about having kits. |
