- Charredleaf on Duckfeather: After Charredleaf's encounter with an adder, the tortoiseshell has felt a certain companionship for Duckfeather. She is grateful for Duckfeather's uncomplaining assistance when she helped the injured Charredleaf return to the RiverClan camp. Charredleaf felt doubly bonded to her after Duckfeather lost her brother to the blizzard of the Moon of TW ('09); Charredleaf herself had lost her only brother moons earlier. The fact that Duckfeather is kin has only compounded Charredleaf's affection for her.
- Lionfrost on Duckfeather: Lionpaw appreciates Duckfeather's patience and acceptance of him, hanging onto her every word if he possibly can. He has always been in slight awe of her, first out of naivety, and then, it became even more so when he realized how competent she truly was, and that she took so much time out of her life to impart her knowledge on him...somecat like him? Never-mind it was her duty, Lionpaw has never had the highest opinion of himself, but Duckfeather gives him hope.
