Appearance   Short Description : A cream bicolor queen with faint stripes and yellow-green eyes wearing a white collar Long Description : Fionnuala is a medium-sized she-cat with a slender, narrow frame. Her dense fur is a light gingery-gold. White fur enwraps the toes of both her forepaws and one of her back paws. Faded tabby stripes run across her tail. Her round eyes, situated above a dark red nose, are a bright yellow-green. She wears a pristine white collar.

Personality     Affectionate and particulary close to her Twoleg, Fionnuala goes out of her way to try to cheer her owner up, purring and rubbing against her legs, and refraining from scratching the furniture. Perhaps a tad indolent, Fionnuala avoids spending too much energy. She doesn't find the outdoors all that tasteful, and much prefers to curl up on her owner's lap and sleep. She is quite content with her life, and possesses no curiosity of the world outside; for what could she possibly want? However, if she was to meet another cat, she'd likely seize the chance for an amiable chat, as she's become rather lonely for feline company since her separation from her family.

History   Key Dates   Born and dubbed Firefly in the Moon of Long Sun (2006) Called Fionnuala by his human family Full History : Fionnuala (Fin-noo-la) was born as Firefly in a litter of three. Her housecat mother, Isis, named Firefly's two sisters Bastet and Horus, while Gate, their sire, was given the honor of naming the last kitten Firefly. The three siblings grew up in the house of Isis' owner. Together, Bastet, Horus, and the then-Firefly got into all sorts of kit-adventures and mischief, and were watched closely by loving, if protective, parents. Fionnuala's idealistic childhood was abruptly interrupted when their owner decided he was getting too old to keep up with three lively kittens, and gave the Firefly and Bastet away to his niece. The kind young woman, who had Gaelic roots, tried to make the two young cats feel at home, and renamed Firefly as Fionnuala and Bastet as Fiachra, after characters in an old Irish legend. Fionnuala quickly befriended the niece, whom she began thinking of as her Twoleg. Bastet, however, became restless, and soon left the house and her sister behind. Fionnuala was saddened to see Bastet go, but soon fell into a lazy, happy routine of being a house cat.
