Full History :

In the Moon of Cheetah's Flight (2006), when he and Mallownose were in their middle seasons, their daughters Mothkit and Hazelkit were born. Shortly afterwards, he retired gratefully to the elder's den, where he spent the rest of his days in (relative) peace.

When the winter of '08 hit, Foxflare, sensing that his time on this earth was already coming to a close, quietly started refusing meals so as to give food to those that had a chance of making it. He was one of the many deaths in the Forest during this time of snow and starving. But when his body was found the morning after he had joined StarClan, there was smile curving his cold face.
