Long Description :
Underneath a long brown pelt, Shift was sturdy and powerfully built. His wide eyes were grey-blue, and his white paws were usually dusty.

Personality
Underhanded and crafty, Shift had a bright mind and an affinity for puzzles. Although he was not necessarily cruel, generally the astute stray had little qualms about manipulating others to his own need. He rarely stayed in one place for long, for he had a natural curiosity of strange lands.

History

Full History :
Shift first became interested in the domestic Rosa through their mutual like of riddles, and he was soon impressed by her knowlegde of tricks that even he had not known before. The tom gradually grew fond of Rosa, and even stopped pondering ways to steal the satiny collar off her neck. Although Shift was restless before long and yearned to continue his roaming, he was strangely relunctant to leave Rosa; the tom had fallen in love. After much beseeching on Shift's part, Rosa decided to leave her housefolk to accompany Shift wherever he went.
Unfortunately, that was not possible for very long. In the Moon of First Green (2004), Rosa gave birth to their she-kit. Later that night, while Shift was out hunting for his weary mate and the new kit, he was struck by a car. The body was picked up from the side of the road and disposed of by Twolegs. |
