Appearance
Short Description :
A dark gray bi-color tom with polydactyl paws and yellow-gray eyes
Long Description :
Sixclaw is a dark grey bi-color tom of the 'mask and mantle' variety. His back, tail, head and hindquarters are all colored, while paws, shoulders, chest and belly are all white. His dark mask is split by a stripe of white that ends between his gray ears. His namesake paws are large, and each possesses six toes. Sixclaw is a sizable cat, and his shaggy pelt just lends a further false sense of largeness to him.

Personality
Having grown from a loner kit, into a questioning and somewhat awkward apprentice, Sixclaw has finally begun to grown into a confident and capable Medicine Cat. While still prone to periodic bouts of self-doubt and failed confidence, his knowledge of herbs and healing skills are second only to his faith in StarClan. Though he lacks experience, when he doesn't question himself he manages to use his calm and considerate nature to the best of its abilities.

History

Full History :
It was a quiet night for all but Ryepelt on the day the kit was born. While the large kit's birth was difficult for her, it was not impossible and only rendered her exhausted, rather than in dangerous condition. The kit grew, slowly gaining an intense hunger for the tales of the great cats and the history of the clan. He was also, however, very easily distracted. This distractable nature led the then 4 moons old Breezekit to chase a leaf through camp and directly into the den of the Leader himself.
After gaining the name Bigpaw and the position of Medicine Cat Apprentice he has gained many things. A skill in healing. A knowledge of Herb Lore. Mastery over the art of the Cat Nap. The only real unususality of his entire apprenticeship was the lack of ThunderClan's own Medicine Cat (Known as Tangleheart then, but renamed Stoneheart when she had been outcast from ThunderClan for attempting to murder the Bloodstar). Instead his mentor was Crestedback of ShadowClan, a kindly old calico tom well known for his laid back nature. As a testament to the ShadowClan Tom who trained him, Bigpaw gained courage and a willingness to choose to stand for the rights of all cats, not just those who are members of the Clan. At 12 moons, he underwent the rite of a Medicine Cat and gained is official title. The act freed Crestedback to return to his home clan as an elder, though the lack of the old tom seems to at least slightly have shaken the young Medicine Cat. |
