Adoption Offer From Kazul
Ever since I heard Twilightkit was going to be up for adoption, I had hopes I'd be able to apply for him. I like to try and keep the gender of the cats I play somewhat 50/50, just because I like to keep things somewhat even. I also don't have a Riverclan cat, and I would love to have one.
Aside from the basics of why I want him, I plan on making a little drama between him and his mother, and possibly between him and Thistlefur. I can see Twilightkit trying to be the best Clan cat he can be, and when his mother explains his father was a no-good loner and she was a Windclan "deserter", I can see him becoming a little disgruntled. I can see him, despite his mother's insistence that blood isn't important, being very upset about his mixed roots, as he isn't of 'clan blood'. I see the whole discussion having opened his eyes to a lot of the behavior the clan has possibly shown him that he didn't initially understand but now does. This makes him develop a grudge against the mixed blood his parents have and gave him, as well as giving him stubborn determination to prove that, while he has no true Riverclan blood in him, he IS a Riverclan cat.
If I am able to roleplay him, I plan on having him ask the leader for a name change when he's made an apprentice, so he can try and shed all the stigmata of his parents' loner ways that Newheart gave him when he was named Twilightkit. With a new name, he'll develop a new sense of confidence and a sense of belonging and as such, grow and mature into a 'true' Riverclan warrior in Twilightkit's eyes.
