Cedarpaw (Owlfeather)

First things first: My apologies for how long this sat. At the least it's still another IC moon or so before he can go IC anyways, so you're not loosing anything. Life went nuts as school got nearer. My schedule will be more regular now that it's started.

APPEARANCE: a white splotch on the back of his left ear - This is unusually to the point where I can't find a photo reference that even indicates it's possibility. I think the spot on the white markings image (which should probably get altered...) is trying to indicate the possibility of a "locket" on the chest or throat, or a small spot on the belly. Since color begins and extends from the ears, a single white ear on a cat with this much colored fur seems to be something that doesn't happen. If you can find photos that indicate otherwise, feel free to drop me a PM.

NOTES: I'm not certain if it's still too early, but I'd like his apprentice name to be Cedarpaw, and his adult name to be Cedarsprig. - Despite the misguided text in the form (which I completely spaced on changing following the creation of Project Name Progression) desired names are only binding for clan leaders if they're filed with the name progression project. If they're only suggestions, they could be left where they are, but leaders would be free to lean otherwise if they saw fit unless they agreed via the project. What I recommend is waiting to file your request, however. You never know when another name might become suddenly way better than the one you thought of ages ago (and Example is when Fiercestorm and Flurrytail's son Duskkit was renamed Tigerpaw. It came about because of a piece of RP in which Bloodstar compared the kit to Tigerdark, an ancestress. Prior to that I think dusk was desired as a retained name).

As always, any questions should be kicked my way.  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 20:41, 19 January 2011 (CST)

On Names

Just so you know, names are only formally set aside for a character if you file them through the Name Progression Department. If you desire certain names, I suggest that you file requests for them. Name Progression department also includes protection on the desired name, so it's worth it.  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 12:07, 10 December 2011 (CST)
