When I first started CoSC, Cottonwhisker had been my first character. She was the one I was able to continually find voice for, even if it had caused conflict. I was glad when Willow took her up, and realized as time passed that I missed playing her. Though sad when Willow left, I had been eagerly awaiting the time when she would be available once again for me to play. Sadly, as a senior warrior, I didn't have the slot to take her in. As soon as she was made an elder and put up for adoption as such, several of the members poked me and sent me this way to adopt her back into my character collection.

After a character has been confiscated or otherwise surrendered by a player it is not eligible for re-adoption by that player outside of the one week recovery period (if applicable). Please understand that I weighted this situation for a very, very long time before making a final choice. In the end this was a standard I did not feel comfortable compromising.
