Appearance: Syndactyly - No breeder of any level of responsibility would have sold that tom without either a firm neuter contract, or neutering him before he was sold. If he was sold by a disreputable breeder, he wouldn't have been sold as a purebreed for risk of their name being attached to the cat in the future and profits being damaged by it. In fact, a responsible breeder would end up culling a good portion of their line from breeding stock if they're throwing this undesirable trait. For more info on it see this page. Additionally, it should be noted that no reputable breeder, and few disreputable ones, would have bred this mutation. Syndactyly is genetically dominate, meaning at least one parent would need to be carrying it. The same stands true for polydactyly.
