Adoption Offer from Fogdancer

I would love to be picked to play Sparrowkit. I've never played a kit in any Warriors roleplay, and I'd like to have that experience. Her character would be fascinating to develop in the intricacies of the Fiercestar lineage. I'd like to have a paw in ThunderClan, too. I know I'm not the most experienced roleplayer, but I feel I'm ready to take on the commitment of playing a kit. Fogdancer 20:33, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Could you expand on how you would wish to develop this character in the future. With how much of a blank slate it is, we really need to know more.  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 21:03, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
Yes, well...I'm thinking something along the lines of Sparrowkit, finding out that her sister is blind, is terribly ashamed of having such a defect in the family. After all, they're descendants of the legendary Fiercestar---what business does a blind cat have in such a lineage? (Would that work? Sparrowkit could grow up angry at both StarClan and Mothkit. Angsty characters are the funnest.) Fogdancer
As long as there is a valid reason for angst, and it stays within rational bounds. But Sparrowkit isn't all about Mothkit - what are you planning to do with her personality as she grows? - Willow 22:27, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
Sparrowkit would want to prove that she could be the best, no matter if her sister was blind. Sparrowkit's blood is the purest (she knows this for sure)---she must be as strong and brave as her father. Basically trying to live up to her bloodline. She would want to make sure her own glory could blot out any imperfections in the family. Is that better? Fogdancer 00:22, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for being detailed. We were looking for where you might want to take the character (IE: What we would be getting ourselves into). We'll start considering the application, but don't expect an immediate answer. We're looking to give other applicants who might be interested a chance to make an offer for consideration.  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 02:17, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
Aye aye. Just thought I'd give it a shot. Fogdancer 14:37, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
Just out of curiosity...is Sparrowkit Fierceblooded? I know her sister is. Fogdancer 20:41, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
It's really a player's choice thing. "Fierceblood" is just a name applied to a way of acting that's been associated to a specific TC Bloodline. Behavior patterns that match 'Fierceblood' exist already in other clans, though they don't have the extreme members that drew attention to the savagery of the line. Generations of learned aggressive behavior have solidified the train into something associated with a specific line. There isn't a true genetic component to Fierceblood. It's one of those nature/nurture things. There might be a small component that makes them naturally aggressive, but the bulk of it is taught.  Kitsufox  Fox's Den 13:47, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
