APPEARANCE: Her eyes contributed to her naming greatly; her eyes are kit-blue at the moment, but already visible are tiny specks of gold set in a whirl-like pattern in her eyes. - Kittens are named on the night of their birth. They're also born with firmly closed eyes. Her eyes could not have been factored into the naming at this phase. I also don't understand how flecks in her eyes could fit in with the world Whirl... I looked up the definition and don't really see it (I might just be not reading things the same as you).
