Declined Application from Sky That Shatters and Falls

1.) I would name the kit either Edwin or Lionel (preferably Edwin). Jonathon and Percival, names from the provided selection, seem just as fine, although I'm not very particular on the name of the character.
2.) I plan to have Edwin be a cat with a strong sense of honor and a strict and proud character. Viewing his father as role model, Edwin tries to be so for his younger sibilings . He is often overly-protective of them as well. Edwin is hard-working althought he may not be the most successful or perfect cat. He enjoys asuming responsibility and fullfilling his duties, but too much work for only him becomes a problem at times.
3.) Edwin has a growing interest in the throne and much determination to prove himself a suitable crown prince. Despite this, he would occasionally find himself overwhelmed by all that is expected of him as royalty. He'd also be slightly obssesed with pleasing his father and hoping to be like him, even over-doing it from time to time and treasuring the times he is praised by his father. While Edwin finds interest in his father's duties and court sessions, being young, he tends to unintentionally and slightly annoy court members and the like, usually by peltering them with questions and bragging about his position as royalty. He's rather proud, not always something that ends in his advantage, but still a cat who knows humility and kindness.
4.) The young tabby tom sat straight up, his tail wrapped neatly around his paws. He attempted to imitate his father's pose, always wanting to be just like him. He raised his head to meet his father's blue eyes with his amber-colored own, his dark brown ears pricked as he listened to his words. When Pendragon finished, the younger tom dipped his head. "I shall be there timely, father. Expect nothing less." He was glad that he sounded more confident than he was, at least to himself. The idea of basically being in two places at once never sat well with him. Still, letting his father down was not a choice.
5.) Edwin's dark tabby pelt was as neatly groomed as could be, the rich brown coloration shining. His pair of amber eyes gleamed and he hoped they didn't betray the happiness burning his fur. His paws appeared to have a mind of their own, guiding him almost blindly as he was lost in his own daydream. This was an occasion he had waited for as patiently as he was able to since he could remember. This was the time he had been so keenly prepared for since birth. Never had the tom felt so excited in his life! It was all he could do to keep himself from yowling "I'm about to be crowned prince!" so loudly that the Clans would hear just as clearly as all the cats before him, awaiting the start of the ceremony.

1.) If I got him, I'd call this cool cat Liam.
2.) Keeping with the theme other members of the litter have established, I'd base Liam's personality off of the god Apollo. He'd grow to be fiercely loyal to Camelot and especially to his family, and would go to great lengths to protect those he grew to love. He would be an intellectual cat and very deeply religious, and would enjoy philosophy and learning, but would be restless and vivacious and not always as serious as he should be. He would be very idealistic -- perhaps so wrapped up in notions of chivalry and justice that he would often be naive about reality. He would plan on fulfilling his duty and eventually becoming king, but would not have any particular ambition or desire to do so beyond obligation to his kingdom, and at times would question if he deserved it. Above all else, he would aspire to please his father, and while his self-esteem would generally be very high, he would have some insecurities about living up to his father's example.
3.) Liam would strive to honor the chivalric code and display all seven virtues, but would not always succeed. He would be honest to a fault, and as he grew older, he would become more and more adept at moderation and self-control, and would not easily succumb to temptation. However, he would have lots of pride in his family and kingdom that would sometimes manifest itself as arrogance. In addition, while he would not have a short temper, his wrath would be fiery if invoked. He would also be on the impulsive side; although his quick thinking could be a strength, it could also cause trouble in some cases.
4.) Liam listened attentively, adopting a pose vaguely similar to his father's, trying to imitate Pendragon and simultaneously give an impression that this was his natural way of sitting and only partially succeeding. A session of court wasn't anything new, but it was another opportunity to prove himself -- to the cats of the court, to his father, and to God. Court sessions were interesting, anyway, if only to get a sense of what the subjects of Camelot were up to. The trip to the Royal Hunting Grounds sounded a bit more fun, and of course he always appreciated spending time with his mother.

"I will be at both events, father," he meowed in response, dipping his head briefly in respect. "And I promise to act my best." Of course, the heir to the throne of Camelot should always endeavor to act his best, but Liam knew he was not always successful. Today, he would have to be; his father was watching.
5.) Liam sat on the corner of the fence facing the road, a light wind ruffling his fur slightly. The young cat's amber eyes surveyed the area around him, trying to sit up as tall as possible and look fittingly regal. He enjoyed sitting on the fence -- it gave him a view of the world around him while giving him an opportunity to collect his thoughts. He rarely took this opportunity, preferring instead to enjoy the sunlight and the breeze and the feeling of being in control that the altitude gave him, but it was nice to have it anyway. The Prince of Camelot flicked his tail idly, appreciating the respite while at the same time feeling mildly impatient for something to do.

1.) Name-wise, I would choose either Arthur or Johnathon (preferably Arthur), both straight from the list.
2.) As a Prince and heir to the Throne, he will bear a great responsibility since an early age. He would strive to prove himself to his father and the rest of Camelot as a worthy Crown Prince, but would possess a certain spark of rebelliousness during his younger stages in life; he wouldn't be above going against the rules or smarting off to other cats for a change. As he grows older and becomes more aware of all that falls on his shoulders, he will begin to lose some of his (generally quite high) confidence and would feel overwhelmed occasionally. He will be quite protective and loving of his sibilings and wishes to be seen as some sort of role model in their eyes. Developing further, he will become more of a humble, hardworking character, but will not fear raising his voice when he feels there is need and will defend what he believes in fiercely.
3.) Whilst I would have Arthur develop into quite a hard-working charcter, the responsibilities he must carry along with the high expectiations set on him would sometimes make him feel overwhelmed. He attempts to be a good Prince and, as the eldest sibiling, a role model for his littermates. However, the Prince of Camelot is not perfect, and while he won't always achieve what he was aiming for, he will strive to do nothing less than his best. He would be on the prideful and outspoken side, but not overly so. Arthur would attempt to be generally patient and understanding, but would be prone to losing his temper with cats whom insult him or his kingdom.
4.) He sat in an imitation of his father's regal pose, neck arched and tail wrapped neatly around his paws. Head raised and amber-coloured eyes directed at Pendragon, the Prince listened intently as the older tom spoke. "I will be there. Thee will not be dissappointed". Making a fool of himself in front of the court and dishonouring his father weren't options, after all. He was the Crown Prince of Camelot, and as such, there were responsibilities he had to bear.
5.) The young dark tabby tom slid from his cat-flap, fluffing out his fur against the icy, bitter winds of late December. It was cold, yes, but this wouldn't stop the Prince from going on his routinely walk around the Kingdom. He trekked through the snow, chin held up in what he liked to call his 'royal gait'. The tom came to the fence guarding his yard, gathered himself, and jumped. He landed on the desired spot, claws tightly gripping the fence. The Prince readied himself, this time to spring off the fence.

Landing gracefully, he shook some snow off his pelt and continued his walk. It was then he turned his head and spotted another cat, a dark figure hunched against the cold. He did not flinch or drop his Princely manner as he took a few confident strides towards the stranger. When he deemed the distance between this newcomber and himself right, he settled, tail wrapped around his paws and neck arched, then cleared his throat and spoke.

"His royal highness Crown Prince Arthur of Camelot, the first of his name, Son of King Pendragon I who was in turn son of Benewick the third, Scions of the royal blood of the cats of camelot, so honoured by King Uther in the days of yore does so acknowldege this stranger. You may approach this royal personage to make yourself known."
