Adoption Status: Withdrawn

I would like to adopt this character for a lot of reasons. First off, she is in RiverClan, and I’ve been thinking about creating a character in RiverClan for a little while, as I don’t have a character in that Clan as of yet and I’d like to roleplay in a Clan I haven’t roleplayed in before. But when I saw that there was an upcoming litter in RiverClan, I decided to apply because I’d be given a chance to develop the character from kithood through roleplaying rather than through a history description. I noticed that the kits in the litter were unnamed, and, when I decided to make this application, decided that I would name this she-kit Kestrelkit if I was given her. I’d love to give Kestrelkit an energetic and playful attitude, with a bit of ambition from her mother. If I was given this kit, I would strive to develop this personality so that she can be the best character that she can be.

Adoption Status: Accepted

Although I had misgivings about adding another character to my life at first, when gradually the other kit was applied for and I rethought my decision I decided to re-apply for her. Although I understand that the apparent inability to commit would be considered a bad choice in choosing the player of a character, I still wish to apply, one of the reasons being that so far there haven't been any other appliers for her. I would like to have the opportunity to roleplay in RiverClan, as so far my only characters are in ThunderClan or ShadowClan or non-Clan. I'd love to have more Clan roleplaying experience, seeing as this site is mainly centered on that, and I'd love, above all, to play another character who already has IC relations. I'd love to give this kit a very ambitious attitude--being the daughter of a deputy father and a very ambitious mother. Like I said before, I’d welcome the chance to not only play a Clan cat, but to play a RiverClan cat, a novelty to me. When I wrote the character sheet for my ShadowClan kit character, I realized that, while writing it, it was different from my ready-made other characters—I didn’t have to write the history or the personality. This excited me, not because I dislike writing lengthy histories and personalities, but because I’d get the opportunity to record a character’s growth through roleplay over months of membership instead of banging it out, the history happening in the ten minutes or so that it takes to type up a character’s history. Also, I’d be able to form IC relationships that take root early on in my character’s life—if she were a ready-made character, I’d have to ask permission from a player to have a relationship and try to express a supposedly lengthy friendship that I’ve had no experience with. The final thing that intrigued me about this kit is that she was unnamed by Fernwhisker and Forcestar. If I were to play this character, I would be able to name her myself. I’d love to name her Whirlkit, but if that was unable to happen, Spottedkit and Kestrelkit would be runners-up.
