Templates for All

EXCUSE OUR DUST: This page is still in the process of being built.

Templates are a super powerful wiki tool that we can take advantage of because we use Mediawiki to power our website, we get to use them to full advantage! To help users know what's possible without our site, here are a few quick templates that every user should know and take advantage of.

RP Tables

Role Play Tables are the fancy boxes that appear on In Character Threads and put the posts from specific characters into a box. If you need one for your character, you can head over to the Character Tablemaker and put one together. To use the tablemaker you just have to use the following text:

{{Table/tablename|posttext}}

Replace the tablename with the name of the table you've made over in the Tablemaker, and replace posttext with the role play post.

Example

{{Table/Foxbright|Foxbright pushed his way through the snow on the ThunderClan side of the Thunderpath. He had been hunting, simply because he didn't want to be in the camp. Second day of snow or not, he didn't care. He'd needed to move.

And now he could smell fresh ShadowClan on the wind. The Sire-killer might be there. You never knew. Someday he'd find and kill the one who'd killed Slateshadow. Forcing his way through the ditch, Foxbright kept out of the snow and onto the gravel at the edge of the Thunderpath. He scented the wind and quickly spotted the cat. Quick Character Links

This is a super quick way to link to a character. I'm only showing the most basic way to use this template, so if you want to learn even more about the super fancy things it can do (like correctly link a kit or apprentice without showing the parenthetical) you should go visit the template page for full details. There is even a way to get it to pull up a the short description with just a few extra keystrokes!

Quick User Links

This template can be used to quickly link to a user's page without having to write alot of code. It saves some serious time.
